I have visit this Dr over 20 years and he's caring, considerate, skillful and I highly recommend him. I have never see him unfriendly or grumpy. His staff are very friendly.

Ive been going to Dr Spruiell since 2002' and he is an AMAZING Dr. He is Always smiling and makes me feel very comfortable. His staff always greets me with a smile, and if ever I have questions, they always take the EXTRA time to make me understand. I highly recommend this practice to all my family and friends.... In the beginning I liked the doctor,but as my 1st pregnancy progressed I was asking more and more questions and Dr. Spruiell rarely eased my mind. I considered changing practices, but I might give him one more chance. I really just want him to be serious and not joke around like he does.

Overall I really liked Dr Spruiell (he somewhat saved my birthing experience after his partner who was on call when I was induced literally put me on hold until it was Dr S shift) in general though I find this practice chaotic. Everyone was nice enough but it came out while I was in labor that my daughter was facing my left hip (they never checked prior to me being induced!!) by the time they found out I was literally bleeding out and she had to be vacuumed out, the Dr he's in practice with does not believe in back labor (the nurse had to explain it to him!!) overall I feel cheated that my first delivery was a mess however I would give Dr S another try if he was ever with a different practice but I won't let Dr Roberts come near anymore of my children.

I wound up switching almost half way through my pregnancy because I just felt like a number. I only met one of the doctors (it was a pop in thing) in the very beginning when they thought I was miscarrying. They didn't take the time to get to know me or gain an understanding of what I wanted out of my delivery. I didn't consider the NP knowledgeable for various reasons. She was nice enough she just seemed to be reading from a textbook. I heard wonderful things about Spruiell and Roberts but I wouldn't know since they never took the time for me to judge. I even had a concern at one of my appointments and the NP wasn't familiar with it so we spent 20 mins with her playing messenger instead of the Dr just coming to talk to me (the problem never even got resolved). That was my final straw and when I switched. The doctor I switched to knew more about me and spent more time with me at one appointment than they did for the 6 appointments I had with them.

Wonderful Doctor, and staff and partner, Dr Roberts. He saved my life. I am 40 and had a baby. All was fine during the pregnancy. They were totally proactive with me. Had complications after the C section (not fault of doctors). I believe I am here today due to both Dr Sprueill and Dr Roberts aggressiveness and dedication. I am forever greatful.
