Dr Pecina has been very helpful and thorough for me and my family the past 20+ years. Very competent family med practitioner, even when I wasn't the nicest in my communications about recent lipid screen results because the patient appointment guide didn't request that I fast for the blood draw, so I didn't and my triglycerides were through the roof. I was upset that I'd now have to pay to have it redone while fasting (results came way down). She politely explained over the patient portal that there was a change in the medical practice that lipid screens are now only fasting if patient is known to have trig metabolizing issues. She listens well and offers care options and will follow your wishes.

Unwilling to get to the root of the problem. Ordered a procedure without knowing history and almost caused Harm and would have if I hadn’t questioned if it should be done due to my condition. She was very short and not friendly. I would not recommend this Dr. to anyone I care about.
