This so-called doctor was less than vigilent in reading my medical history. He was condescending and arrogant. This physician ordered pain medication for me, not once but twice, that I was allergic to. He refused to prescribe what I am able to take because he claimed that there was some fictitious file on me stating that I was addicted to this medication. When I asked him to present it to me he refused. I will admit that I was part of the state's Consistent care program at one point because of my medical history and the amount of pain medications that I required at one time due to my ongoing treatments. However, I was removed from that program nearly three years ago and had the documentation to prove it. He insisted on prescribing the medication that I was allergic to and stated that he would give me other drugs to counteract any allergic reaction that I may sustain. I was sent to the emergency room by my primary care physician to rule out a brain aneurysm. I had previously had two brain aneurysms which I received surgery for. The CT scan showed that there was an abnormality and further testing needed to be done. The medication that I was allergic to cause me to have severe high blood pressure. When I explained my concern for taking the medication, regardless as to whether or not he would give me medication to possibly counteract it, he became enraged. I told him that the prescribed medication would increase my blood pressure therefore causing the possibility of an aneurysm to rupture seemed quite dangerous. That upset him greatly that I was questioning him. When I refused to take the medication he ordered... Which was Morphine... He told me that I was free to leave the hospital and made me sign paperwork that stated that I refused his medical treatment. I refused to sign it until my point of view was given. Once I signed it I asked for a copy of it and it was refused to me. I have since spoke with the state and they indicated that they have received several other complaints along the same lines pertaining to this "physician" .
