Was no help to me for my anxiety and I regretted wasting my time plus he was fairly expensive. He does not seem to be able to think outside the box and took very little time to understand my condition. I would not recommend him to anyone and won't see him again.

My son has seen doctor Bishop for the past 2 years for schizoaffective disorder. I cannot believe the negative reviews because we have seen Dr. Bishop multiple times and have never had a negative experience. He listens to me and my son, and will explain things in detail. During a crisis the staff made sure we came in the same day. He is a brilliant man and knows the medications backwards and forwards. I am an RN and very picky about doctors!

These people have a pattern of rude and total disregard for their patients. Please file a complaint with the Mississippi Medical Board to document this poor quality of care.

Staff is rude and could care less if you died don't expect warm and cozy anything. Guess they forget who actually writes their check.

While I wasn't pleased with the service I was receiving from Dr. Bishop while I was a patient of his, I am even more dissatisfied now. As a patient, you're shuffled in and out very quickly. It is clear that his only goal is to maximize the number of patients he sees in a day and does not care about their well being. I was treated for severe depression after a suicide attempt. It was a really traumatic time in my life having lost my father and dealing with my sexual orientation. I felt the only way out was to check-out permanently. Dr. Bishop just wanted to get me on meds and take my money. Now 7 years later I'm doing great and haven't had a problem in several years, no thanks to Dr. Bishop. However, now I would like to get my CCW permit from the state of MS but because I was committed (voluntarily) to a psychiatric facility I need a certificate from a psychiatrist licensed in this state. I was told he would not write the letter because his insurance doesn't cover it. A load of BS!!
