Rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. Normal wait times are 2 hours to receive 5 minutes of terrible care. He only cares about the number of patients he can collect on in a day. Don’t waste your time if you’re really in need of psychiatric care.

I would not recommend Dr. Bishop if you or your loved one are in need of a medical professional in the psychiatric field. Not only did he misdiagnose, he prescribed medication that was in no way relating to the diagnosis of my partner (two of the three medications should not have even been mixed together). My partner stated that from the first time he met with Dr. Bishop he did not listen, he was short, and overall rude. He went to a few follow up appointments after having to go into inpatient psychiatric hospitalization but stopped seeing him due to his lack of respect and care. I know that the healthcare system is broken and there are not a lot of doctors out there. But if you are one, you should have the decency to at least act like you care about the patients you treat. I was absolutely astounded by the meanness of this man. Would never recommend to anyone

Please trust me I could write a book on all thing’s wrong with him and his staff. Started out great but turned into a nightmare. I then read reviews and everything I experienced every patient that let bad reviews were exactly the same experience as mine

0 interest in the patient. I was a quick in and out. Less than 15 minutes and he diagnosed me with bipolar and put me on a concoction of meds which left me extremely angry and sleepy. When I came to him with the issues it was every excuse in the book to not change my meds. Worst Dr I've ever heard of him the area.

My son has been seeing Dr. Bishop for about 2 years. He portrays that he is concerned, but short of reading the evaluations and changing your medication or increasing the dosage he shows no concern. He is money hungry and should be evaluated by the Psychiatric Board on his ethics. Be careful of med. pushers. I read that some of his fellow doctors question the amount of money he makes compared to others. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I was very aware of the number of patients he sees in a short amount of time and most are in and out within 5 to 10 mins. Trust the reviews.

His office staff are very poor quality: they will argue in front of the clients, don't give urgent messages to Dr. Bishop, and have outright lied to me. Too bad, because I think Dr. Bishop is a good psychiatrist. Staff are not helpful at all!

Doesn't seem to care about his patients overall health and wellbeing, he seems to care more about how much you can pay him. He does not communicate well with other doctors-if you see another specialist as well. I had been seeing him for about 2 years, and when I called, his staff said to come right in. I told them I didn't have my copay today but I could give it to them over the phone the next week. They closed the glass and when they opened it back up, they said I'm sorry but he says you must have your copay today. I had a zero balance. Finally I was able to get my mom on the phone and she paid them my copay over the phone with her bank card. I have many other horror stories but I'll leave it at that.
