He was recommended for thyroid surgery removal by Dr Manzoor, A couple of weeks after surgery went to Dr Manzoor he did not remove hardly any of my thyroid. So now I still have to have ultrasounds often to keep a check on nodules. He never even returned my calls.

Dr. Daube feeds on the insecurities of women, in order to generate revenue. First he preformed an open nose reduction. I had an infection on the tip of my nose every month for a year and half after and on four different occasions I went to see him because my nose was always red and inflamed, he said it was a pimple but just in case prescribed a week of antibiotics each time. My friend described the situation to another plastic surgeon and he knew what was causing my issues over the phone. Dr. Daube knew he left a stitch/suture in my nose and it was extremely infected but was lazy and/or didn’t want to spare the cost to himself to try fixing it. Dr. Mockler removed it in his office in 5 minutes and sure enough a suture infected the tip of my nose for so long I still have a 2 mm scare/hole on the tip of my nose. Also, I only have 10% airflow in my left nostril, because the surgery wasn’t preformed correctly. If I every want good airflow, I will have to have another surgery because it wasn’t done correctly the first time. Before I knew about the infected suture, he convinced me that my tonsils needed to be removed, as an adult, which he is known for in PC. Lastly, during my follow up visit for my nose, he suggested another procedure for acne scars. I would never recommend anyone struggle the way I have due to the mistakes he made during surgery and his neglect after surgery. His mistakes left me unable to receive air flow in one nasal passage, but mainly I am still upset because he intentionally misdirected me regarding the infection in my nose and let it continue for almost two years. Eventually, I had to go to another doctor that diagnosed it over the phone and removed the suture that infected and scared my nose for free.

It looks like you may have written this on the incorrect page. This page is for Dr. Daube, not Dr. Nowak, and Dr. Tran has never been affiliated with our office. If you are one of our current patients, please give us a call at your convenience and we would be happy to discuss your concerns and see if there is anything we can do to help you. Sincerely, Your Gulf Coast Facial Plastics & ENT Center Team

Dr. Daube wasn't even on call yet he came in to the E.R. to see my daughter for trauma. He came highly recommended by a friend. A follow up appointment was made at his office and his nurses could not have been more helpful. They all seem to love their job and are happy which makes for a terrific visit for the patient. I would have liked him to spend more time with us, but he was no nonsense and very direct as to what needed to be done. I'm glad I trusted my daughter to his care.

Biography

Since founding Gulf Coast Facial Plastics and ENT Center almost two decades ago, I’ve found that often our patients become our friends. We really like to get to know the people we treat, because then we can take care of them more comprehensively. And, whereas there are numerous physician rating sites, they don’t provide enough information for you to be able to get to know me – the person behind the lab coat! In my opinion, getting to know your physician on a more personal level also allows you to feel more comfortable with him during the examination. So here are some personal tidbits about me, and you’ll see that we just may have a lot in common! - I was a much-disciplined child as the son of a Lt. Col. in the Air Force. Early on, I wanted to fly jets just like my father, and was actually preparing for the Air Force Academy. Although I was accepted, I chose not to attend because I really couldn’t fly. However, the discipline I developed preparing for this military career made medical school and residency very positive experiences. - I have a hidden talent – playing the violin. I’m not good enough to play publicly, but once I reach retirement, I hope to perfect my style. - One accomplishment I’m really proud of is that I once came in second place in a triathlon. I earned a scholarship in college due to my competitive swimming ability, and after I graduated, I began running and biking. I decided to try a triathlon and did fairly well. - The most unusual item in my office? Part of the Apollo 13 spacecraft. - In the South, a lot of people love football, basketball or baseball, but I’m a little different in that I prefer more offbeat sports like soccer, swimming, and western riding. - A lot of people have “guilty pleasures”, but I don’t feel guilt about activities that give me pleasure; however, I don’t share my enjoyment of Yoga with any of my male friends. - My best friend is named Rocky, and he and I have been close since high school. It has always been a consistent, healthy friendship based on mutual respect. I believe longtime friends are important as they keep us grounded. I’m so very thankful for all my friends from youth who have remained close over the decades. - Finally, my Bucket List continues to grow: I would, finally, like to learn to fly airplanes; experience helicopter skiing; spend more time in the mountains during the winter with family and friends; watch my daughter grow into an even more amazing young woman; never retire; watch Obamacare become dismantled; take care of my Father; and find my soul mate with whom I’ll share the rest of my life. - My staff has more than 75 years combined medical experience and many have been working alongside me for ten or more years! I consider them part of my family. Feel free to start a conversation the next time you’re in the office. I bet we have a lot in common!
