Dr. Margulies lacks compassion and has an off-putting "bed-side" manner. Don't go to her if you are obese as she tends to blames any problems on the patient's weight.

Canceled an appointment for June after my daughter waited 6 month for this appointment and my daughter is only back from college over the summer. She carefully chose Dr. Margulies after being diagnosed with an endocrine disorder and was looking forward to see her because she has been suffering with symptoms. The office said that this Doctor decided she only wants to see patients already diagnosed with a thyroid disorder. I guess she wants to make things easy for her and eliminate the more challenging cases. We were offered appointments with more inexperienced doctors and told we could not see Dr. Nevin too because she was booked too. Very unprofessional. Not at all impressed. I implore this office to get some ethics.

Office staff is very difficult to reach and they do not follow through. You are on the phone waiting for far too long. They give wrong information in scheduling. I really need to find another endocrinologist because the office staff is too difficult to work with and it becomes very frustrating.

Excellent doctor and staff. Always punctual and Dr. Margulies always calls back right away for results or any concerns. I would recommend and have recommended her to close friends and family.

My experience with Dr Marguilies was very positive. She did a biopsy on a thyroid nodule. Compared to the first time I had this procedure done it was quick and painless. Her staff on the other hand was terrible. They were difficult to reach, and when I did reach them their directions were incomplete. I felt uninformed and kind of lost. I would get rid of the whole lot of them and start fresh!

My experience with Dr. Marguelies was very positive. She took time to explain my situation and steps to determine the cause of my problem. The negative part of the experience was the staff, especially the receptionist... very dismissive and unprofessional; one would think that she's the head of the practice and you cannot dare ask questions and just take her words. She beckons me to her by gesturing with her fingers/hand! Another negative of the practice is the inability to get someone on the phone.

Dr Margulies asked me questions that were inappropriate for a first time patient. I felt defensive and anxious while there. She seemed to be book smart but bed side manner was laking.

Overall, I find Dr. Margulies to be very smart, accurate and professional. I was waiting no more than 10-15 minutes, she gave me time to speak about my concerns and I felt she was not only listening but was very sharp in her responses and diagnosis. She then conducted a mammogram on me to see if she could detect the parathyroid gland that was overactive. I was asking a lot of questions (and I ask a lot of questions!) which she answered in addition to ensuring I was comfortable during the procedure. Instead of sending me home and making me schedule another appointment, she decided she would take a sampling of cells on a growth that she saw on my thyroid. There was a small chance that it was cancerous. This was NOT a comfortable procedure-handled me as professionally and as humanely as possible. Since then, she has been following up with me closely and I am very happy to have found a trustworthy doctor.
