Best Office ever ........................................

I’ve had the luck of finding dr Blackwell!! Wonderful staff with a clean office! She was able to maintain proper contact with my specialty surgeon and handled all the paperwork from the office and made sure to ask about my surgery how things went and follow up on any and all concerns that arose during recovery. Staff has always been very warming and welcoming when arriving and being checked in. No issues with getting scripts or receiving results from the staff always happy to help when calling in and very easy to arrange appointments. Referring to specialist is comprehensive with options easily pointed out for the area. Hands down best doctor I’ve ever had.

any doctor that allows a staff like this should not be practicing. the staff is like a bunch of catty school girls who think they have some kind of superiority over you, the pee-on patient.

I gave one star because that was the lowest available rating. She may have been a good doctor at one time but not anymore. First, she insists that you call her Beyonce before that it was Tina Turner! She writes on paper not a computer. Her and her staff forget to call in necessary prescriptions. She's rude and demanding. The hospitals don't even allow her in anymore. She can't make hospital rounds - she is banned!!! Very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. How she keeps her license we have no idea?!

Very poor experience with Dr. Blackwell & staff. If you become very ill or have a complex medical condition - please seek another primary practice. Initially this MD presents well, will send you for tests, shuffle your paperwork but, in actuality does not present as knowledgeable about managing care above common cold, flu, non emergent disorders. Also, does not stay on top of communication with specialists when needed. The office is only open Mon - Thursday so don't get sick on Fri. Dr. Blackwell does not make hospital rounds (nor does her ARNP) so if you go to the hospital for an emergeny & are admitted - you will be seen by a hospital intensivist and the hospital record will be sent to the office - there is no continuity of care with that. I question whether she even reads these communications. The staff are often abrupt, not knowledgeable about common office practice and not happy at all if you need forms filled out or ask questions. I recommend staying away from this primary care provider, find a larger practice that will work for and with you, make rounds at a local hospital and have fri, sat hours.

Moved here made an appointment. I have COPD she would not give me my scripts till I ended up in the hospital. I asked for a letter for HEAP for a AC she would not help me with that.

The most unprofessional staff I have ever seen, in any business. They treated me like a criminal when I tried to correct a mistake that the staff had made, resulting in me being dropped as a patient. I needed help, and was met with sarcasm, accusations, and attitude. This staff will get in the way of your medical care at one point or another, I recommend that you stay far away.
