I had a very positive experience with Dr Kalinian and her staff. I was referred for Neuropsychological testing. All patient forms are online on their website , very easy to complete and submit. Easy to get an appointment, the office is very clean, quiet, nicely decorate in coastal theme. Dr is very kind, knowlegable and easy to talk to. Its obvious she truly cares about her patients. I would give 10 stars!!!

I was referred to Dr K for cognitive testing. I found her to be very personable, kind, & warm..She is a gifted, extremely knowlegeable , professional, and caring doctor. She spent a lot of time understanding my issues and reviewed the results of testing she did in person with me and my husband in person. Her office staff was very easy to work with, they respond very quickly to messages. The office is high tech with all forms online ready to complete and submit, they confirmed my insurance benefits and gave me an appointment quickly. If you need to see a neuropsychologist, go see Dr K, she is awesome!

I saw Dr Kalinian because she was highly recommended by my doctor. She was very thorough with the evaluation, spent a lot of time understanding the memory issues I was experiencing, and made me feel at ease. I was afraid to be tested worried I had dementia. Thank God I don't and I am so glad I I saw Dr Kalinian, she is truly the best!!!

I was not sure what to expect after my concussion, but after finding and meeting with Dr Kalinian, and helping me understand both my actual injury and the recovery process, I have a feeling of confidence and relief on how to move forward. Without Dr. Kalinians knowledge and genuine care for her patients I do not think this would have been possible. Extremely professional and an incredible doctor. Thank you Dr. Kalinian.

My experience with Dr Kalinian was nothing short of excellent. She is very patient, compassionate, & very knowledgeable about memory issues & Concussion. I strongly recommend her for issues you are experiencing with your tbrain. Her evaluation was very thorough & detailed, she provided me & my family a road map of what is going on with me & what I need to do to recover from the Concussion I suffered. I am eternally gratefull to you, Dr Kalinian, thank you!!!!

Their website says “In addition, our clinical and rehabilitation psychologist treats the full spectrum of psychological/emotional issues (i.e., anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBT issues, marital & family, mental illness and chemical dependence, and others), in teens, adults, and the elderly.“ but they don’t actually provide treatment. What’s the point of going her just to get an expensive eval that I can get with a psychologist.

Office staff is incompetent and rude

I called to schedule as a new patient and was told to go fill out some new patient forms. Fine - every office does this, until you look at the forms. One of them is a blanket credit card authorization that includes any amounts not covered by insurance. When you ask them to help find out what the amount not covered by insurance is, you're met with "That's not my job ". Not only does every other provider out there help navigate insurance issues, they are extremely rude about it here. I would recommend staying far away from this practice. If you do have to go here for whatever reason, at least avoid "Sophie" like the plague. She's extremely rude and unprofessional. I did end up speaking with her supervisor "Kate", who is much more reasonable, but upon me asking for them to try to work with me, I find out they are apparently "in between medical billers" and her hands are tied. I honestly don't know how good Dr. Kalinian is, but she sure has problems managing a staff, which seems like a pretty big red flag for a neuropsychologist.

I was very impressed with Dr. Kalinian's vast knowledge of my condition and the ease she brought to the evaluation process. She was professional, kind, and very easy to talk to. I was referred by my internist for memory problems, she performed a detailed examination and gave me and my internist answers. She is the best, I strongly recommend her!!!!
