Dr. McCarty and his PAs are absolutely stellar. Their brilliance is sadly balanced with an indolent, insolent group of fast-food workers masquerading as a support staff. It's entirely possible that this incongruity may be driven by Dr. McCarty's pronounced sense of empathy, and he continues their employment by merit of pity.

Matthew McCarty does not deserve to have the title of a doctor in front of his name. I highly recommend against any one seeing this doctor.1000 characters will not get the job done. He had no respect for anything I had to say and did not look at me in the eyes once during my two 15 minute office visits. $3000 a visit and I expect some courtesy towards me. Do not be fooled by this man. He will take your money, even if you are insured. I am outraged by his staff and the way I was treated. I highly recommend staying away from this doctor. My past review written in the past two years have now somehow been removed. He could do that with the amount of money he is making from stealing from patients. My pain has only increased, and I don't know where to turn at this point. After I got the MRI from another radiology clinic he told me that everything was fine and it was all mental. But he still wanted me to get the injections. Please try to find other review before seeing this person. Be careful

I've been a patient of Dr. McCarty's for approx 8 yrs - I recommend him to everyone I know! He is multi-displincary, which means he does not believe that prescriptions are necessarily the answer (they aren't!) Because of his time and concern for me, he has educated me to learn other ways to achieve pain mgmt - exercise, work, helping others, tai-chai(!) - etc. Not to mention the injections which have helped me immensely! I truly believe it is because of his care that I am able to work full-time still (have many spinal "issues") - he has been a true blessing to me, and now his partner, Dr. Lowry, is a blessing to my brother!
