Terrifying, dismissive, and disinterested--- my family and I will never forget the anguish Mr. Joseph Davis' incompetence put us through. After being referred to Mr. Davis (no "doctor" would conduct themselves as he did) by the Providence Vein Clinic for deep vein thrombosis, Mr. Davis' "care" involved letting me wait naked in an exam room for 40 minutes only to be given no examination, incomplete medication "paperwork" (which was actually only an expired advertisement information packet for Xarelto), and 12 "free" tablets of the aforementioned blood thinner regiminen that is dangerous to discontinue (his statement to his staff was that my "insurance would pay for it."). After receiving my CT scan results from Inland Imaging, Mr. Davis then called me on the telephone to tell me that, "although he doesn't usually call patients about this on the phone", nor does he "sugar coat" anything, proceeded to give an oncological diagnosis referencing two "masses" on my lungs. Collapsing with this news (one of the symptoms reported to Mr. Davis was that I have migraine headaches), I then had to call the Heart Institute office director to confirm that, NO, Mr. Davis is not qualified for oncological diagnoses, nor would these results ever be discussed over the phone; when pressed for a reason why Mr. Davis would have provided a diagnosis he is not qualified for, the office director (Karina) flatly repeated "I don't know". Requiring an all-day back and forth to move my records to Deaconess' pulmonary center (Mr. Davis did not give me a referral to another doctor despite his cancer diagnosis, and his staff repeatedly ignored my family's request to send all records to Deaconess), only after an excrutiating, agonizing, 5-day withdrawal from the blood thinner Mr. Davis incorrectly prescribed me could I safely have a biopsy, which revealed Mr. Davis' unqualifed diagnosis as entirely wrong. An absolute nightmare---- this "doctor" caused my family and I much more harm than good.
