I think he's an excellent doctor if you have more dire needs esp. Heart or lung, but for anything else I wasn't pleased in the past. It's not easy to see him because he's one of the only pulmonary doctors in the area, and I usually just get the P.A. and was not happy with the out come looking at my own test results later on.

I saw Dr. Kappogiannis as a new patient. He did not give me a physical examination, but scheduled that for a Physician Assistant to do later. He ordered blood tests and neither he nor his staff ever called me to with the results. I tested positive for blood in my stool, and they took weeks to schedule a referral with a gastroenterologist. I do NOT recommend Dr. Kappogiannis and I do NOT recommend Southcoast Health, because this is typical of the lack of quality care.
