Dr. Moldovan was recommended to me in 2008. He's a hard worker and is smart - and stays current on all procedures. He speaks multiple languages. He told me all the stats ahead of time about my breast cancer lumpectomy surgery and what the results could be (as he tried to save as much of the breast as possible) - sadly, all the statistics came true, but I was prepared because he told me ahead of time. Other doctors and people who fitted me for my prosthetic were so impressed with my mastectomy that they wanted to know my surgeon's name. He sewed me back together beautifully. He learned his great techniques by taking the time to go into surgery with plastic surgeons so he could learn what to cut and what to leave for reconstruction. Fast forward 8.5 years - my gallbladder is shot and I return to Dr. M for all the right reasons. I get the same treatment and I'm in and out of the hospital in 6 hours flat. Hopefully, I never need surgery again but I know where to go if I do. His practice has really grown since I saw him last. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. I only wish he (actually, all doctors) were more in tune with how acupuncture can be beneficial to western medicine.

I had a hernia surgery done last week and was fairly calm and easy going about the process and procedure. Of course, because this was my first real surgery ever I still had some mild nerves. But after searching long and hard for the right doctor, it turned out that Dr. Maldovan was the only one I could choose. And THANK GOD. He is an amazing surgeon. Very calm and collected. Takes the time to explain everything, listens to you, and even has some sense of humor if the moment calls for it. He made me very comfortable and assured that it would go great. And it did. I had surgery last Thursday and am already back at work today, a week later. Of course I am still pretty sore, but the technique of Dr. Maldovan and the technology of having it done laparoscopically has made recovery very manageable and as painless as can be. I HIGHLY recommend this great surgeon.
