Dr. Cooley and his staff are always friendly and professional and always make the experience of having a colonoscopy as pleasant as could be expected. I just had my fourth procedure (third routine colonoscopy plus an earlier endoscopy), and there's no way to make the prep a pleasant experience, but on the day of the procedure and during any follow-up visits, I always feel they do everything they can to make me feel they really care about me.

Dr Cooley gave me his time, and didn't make me feel he needed to rush out the room to get on with his schedule. He also kept it simple-he looked at blood work I'd had done for another doctor and wasn't insistent that I needed a plethora of procedures to get a diagnosis. I did a sonogram that confirmed gall bladder disease and now I can go on to take care of it. He listened to me and engaged me in working for a solution.

Dr. Cooley has been my GI Dr. for almost 20 years and I would not still be seeing him if I didn't think he is an excellent Doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr. Cooley. I selected him through an online search based on his background and level of expertise. I was at the age where I needed a colonoscopy. However, my primary worry was due to digestive upsets. He eased my worries and performed an endoscopy as well. On a follow up visit 6 months later, I still had issues. He cared enough to spend time asking several questions regarding my physical and mental conditions. He did not send me on my way, but set an appointment the following month to check my progress personally. He took responsibility for my condition, and I felt better knowing he wanted to follow up with me. My only suggestion would be a prompt call from the doctor following test results. His nurse was difficult to get a hold of on several occasions, and never sent me information on Barrett's Disease as she promised. I had to do the research on my own as there was no follow up visit after the procedures. I also believe diagnoses should be given personally by the M.D. as an extra caring factor and to confront any in depth questions.
