Dr Karpen was a wonderful Doctor who always took the time to talk with me about my back and is the reason I have been able to continue working and living my life

I have also received a notice that Dr Karpen is no longer with the practice. To lose such a phenomenal doctor without any information is frustrating to say the least. If anyone has any information, please take the time to post.

Absolutely amazing doctor. I received a notice in the mail today that he has left the Center for Pain Relief and will not be returning to the practice. Does anyone know if Dr Karpen is practicing elsewhere? Will definitely change to the new practice if there is one! Finally found a great doctor, and now he's gone. Haven't met the new doctor yet - but has some pretty big shoes to fill.

My name is Jackie I have been going to Dr Karpin for 8 years every other doctor Ive been to blew me off made me think it was all in my head. When I found Dr Karpin he sat down listened to me took the time to review everything and showed me where on my MRI that was creating my problem that it wasn't in my head. I am able to somewhat live a normal life because of Dr Karpin he is the nest doctor I have been to. I also like the last review would alos travel miles to see him.. Thank you Dr Karpin for helping me..

my name is ray palone,,dr karpin has been my pain doctor for many years,,i have been dealing with chronic back and neck pain for over twenty years and the day i met dr. karpin my life changed for the better,,he is an amazing doctor who knows his skill,,he is the only doctor that listened and treated me like a real person and his compassion to treat chronic has made my quality of life so much better,,,i would travel hundreds of miles for an appointment to be treated by him,,he is the best in his field and i wouldnt go to any other,,thank you dr. karpin !

I have seen Dr. Karpen for years. He is very knowledgeable about my condition, even though it is a rare disease. He will do whatever is in his power to help his patients. He has a strong medical background. He is a pain management physician that does not simply "push medications" on patients. He offers alternative treatments in his office such as injections etc. There are too many physicians calling themselves "pain management clinics". They simply hand you a prescription and see you in a month. Dr. Karpen is NOT like this. He is not a pill pusher and will see right through the dishonest. He is very thoughtful and genuinely concerned with your outcomes. He has extensive knowledge of underlying conditions and he works with your other physicians to keep everyone on the same page. He KNOWS his patients. You are not just "the next chart", you are a person. His office staff are all very wonderful. I am in healthcare myself and would never trust my care to anyone else.

Dr Karpen is absolutely amazing. Actually listens and cares about the treatment vs. just going through the motions. I have been seeing him for years - and will continue doing so until he retires. One of the best doctors I have ever had

Excellent Dr that cares, I currently see Dr karpen, have been seeing him for 6-8 years and he is a great compassionate man.

I wanted an appt with this Dr and got his partner Dr Ginsburg. AWFUL DOCTOR!!!! She is very condescending. Left office and called back 5 minutes later to ask for sleep aid or suggestion. They did not call back till next day and refused and said patient had to wait till next visit in about a month! We just left her office!!! No sympathy or empathy from her. Wish we could have seen Dr Karpen like we asked. Nurses were kind and caring. She was more worried about how she felt than how the patient felt. AWFUL EXPERIENCe. The nurse is the only reason we went a second time because she wanted me to talk to my husband's doctor. Waste of time and money.They wanted me to pay $25.00 to copy chart. They can keep chart cause I am sure there is nothing worth paying $25 for from that DR.! Very unhappy clients.......

BEST doctor I have ever seen!! He takes the time to listen to everything you say, and is very compassionate and caring. Smetimes you have to wait awhile, but for his care, it's worth the wait!! And his nursing staff, and secretary Sue are just as nice and compassionate as him!! Top notch doctors office!!!
