I really liked Dr. Schuval was superb. Great bedside manner. Good sense of humor. He made me feel ar ease in a sensitive situation. He took time to fully explain the procedures he performed.
I have recommended him to others. Great doctor.

Dr. Schuval is absolutely wonderful to me. This is the first time in over two years that my 16 year old son had been without pain, open wound, infection, bleeding or preparing for another procedure. I wish we had been sent to Dr. Schuval first!

Dr. Schuval does not seem to care about his patients. He rushed me in and out each time I visited. He performed surgery on me and my problem has not gone away. I recommend against seeing him.

Most horrific experiance of my life and this is coming from a man that had to have a testicle removed! I was in unbelieveable pain after I saw Dr. Schuval. Felt like he simply jammed instruments into me that were WAY too big for the hole they were going in. Bleeding continued for days! Nothing he did was smooth or with regard to how I would feel. I told his staff and him that I had a very important interview the next day and yet he discovered and treated (banded) an internal hemroid BEFORE even telling me that I had one. To be clear... TREATMENT WAS NEVER AUTHORIZED NOR WOULD IT HAVE BEEN AUTHORIZED!!! Banding the hemroid caused severe pain and discomfort and ultimately took away my ability to focus on the interview. He did not tell me what he was going to do nor did he give me any real warning. Becasue of this horrible doctor I doubt that I will ever see another Proctologist again. I can not stress enough... STAY AWAY!

Dr. Schuval failed to wash his hands when entering and leaving the exam room. Wife got severe rash on buttocks immediately after rubberband treatment for hemmorhoid. Kept saying it happens sometimes. Finally told my wife she was no longer his patient.Sent her to a doctor who basically backed up Dr. Schuval. When we asked him if he was a specialist he responded that he and Dr. Schuval had an agreement to swap "difficult patients".

Found the doctor unprofessional and untruthful. He made a personal comment about my sexual preferences that was uncalled for. He also said the procedure would be painless and that I would only have some mild discomfort afterward. In fact the procedure was painful, done with no anesthetic and I experienced severe pain for several days afterward. I don't know how he made the top ten list.
