He is a great listener and provides concrete help to his patients. He is a great resource. My son has seen Dr. Chan for years and says he has helped him deal with life’s daily challenges as well as major events.

My teenage son worked with Dr. Chan for many years. They worked on some very difficult issues and Dr. Chan was there to support my son when he needed it. My son tried to work with a few other therapists when he was younger but didn't want to continue working with them. Now that my son is in college, he makes a point of checking in with Dr. Chan at least a few times a year. I should add that my son is a very high functioning young man on the autism spectrum.

Dr. Darrow A. Chan is professional, knowledgeable, and committed. He was my psychologist for 10 years, and in those years helped me through profound hardship, while acting as an advocate for me when I was a minor. I saw other therapists intermittently, and by far he was the one who got through to me, and understood what I needed in treatment.

Unfortunately, Dr. Chan made a variety of "poor judgement" errors. Based on information from a third grader, he told the teacher to report the parent to caps. He was referred for ADHD. Parent also worked in the field, specialty of autism. If Dr. Chan would have asked for additional information, he would realize the accusations where unfounded. This was also substantiated by cps at the state level and the school also apologized to the parents stating they were only following Dr. Chan's orders.
