Dr. Guo has treated me for a hemifacial spasm for several years now. Before going to Dr.Guo, I had recieved botox treatments that were ineffective and actually caused drooping, blurred vision and regressive symptoms. Dr. Guo's expertise in treating my condition has been life changing. I am forever grateful for his knowledge of facial spasms and understanding of the physical and social- emotional implications of my conditon. Dr. Guo is a gifted professional who has treated my conditon successfully. I am very grateful and highly recommend Dr. Guo to others who are struggling with this condition.

I was a passenger in a terrible 3 car automobile accident in December 2015. My diagnoses was whiplash, herniated disc, bulging discs, anteriorlithesis of the spine with infringement on L4and L5 nerve. . My Life went on with severe pain throughout my body every day subsequent to this accident. I am a person who in 62 years never had any severe sickness, or ever neck, shoulder or back pain or issues before. I was 62 years young and had a very healthy and active life style before the accident. Subsequent to this MVA I needed extensive physical therapy and treatment by many doctors but my treatment was not helping at all and I was getting worse, in more pain than ever (@ 5 months after the accident), and then having neurological issues with my shoulders arm and top right leg numbness, pain like pins and needles at times. . I could not walk or go up and down stairs or carry things, etc. Finally I was recommended to Dr. Guo @ 1 year ago for neorological testing and then pain management. He was a gift from God for me. He is still treating me because U still have issues but I have improved and hopefully with treatment have a normal life. I get Prolo Therapy treatments which is monthly injections as and where needed for pain (I understand it is rejuvenate medicine instrumental in healing the body from injuries when physical therapy and all else fails) My Treatments are painful but effective and I also receive Acupunxture with Tens 2 times a week to eliminate the extreme pain to my neck, shoulders, spine and hip/L4 and L5 nerve issue. I experienced constant back spasms caused by the car accident. I could not lead a normal life on my own due to this extreme pain for @ 13 months after the accident I had no life. . I am still in the process of healing and am being treated by Dr. Guo as needed. I am eager to give Dr. Guo a "top doctor rating". He is a brilliant, caring doctor, an excellent neurologist, a man with good judgment and excellent medical skills. I have the highest regard for Dr. Guo and I trust his medical judgment. I consider myself lucky to have had a consultation with him and having him treat me has helped. Dr. Guo came highly recommended by my orthopedic surgeon and primary care doctor. I can definitely see why.

This place is the absolute WORST. So many problems I don't know where to start. I went to STAT health for a severe headache and they referred me here. The office staff is combative and nasty. My appointment is NEVER kept and any time I mention I've been waiting for over 30 minutes- up to an hour after my appointment time- the office workers become rude and even raise their voices in response to my concern that my life is passing me by while I rot away in this god forsaken waiting room.

Dr.Guo is a total misogynistic, backward, jerk. When he tried to prescribe me painkillers, I told him I was breastfeeding. He asked how old my baby was and started to berate me for breastfeeding a baby over 6 months old. He said, "after 6 months there is no benefit for the baby" and that my son "wouldn't be a tough person" because I was "making him soft" by breastfeeding. THESE ARE ACTUAL QUOTES!! He then told me that I need to tell my husband that I won't nurse anymore- as if my husband if forcing me or something. Really crazy stuff.

My last complaint is that this guy is a neurologist who does acupuncture and gives Botox. Now I realize Botox is a treatment for migraines; HOWEVER it is advertised as a cosmetic treatment. What is going on here?!? I will NEVER return to this facility. I was disrespected in so many ways I can't even believe it myself.

First off, his office is never busy...you can get an appt. anytime. He was so confusing to understand..he told me about my back problem but wasn't specific. He recommended either acupuncture or two different kinds of shot therapies. Then said "oh by the way you have a very mild case of Parkinsons!" The brain scan was inconclusive as was the EMG. He scared the heck out of me. He wrote his entire diagnosis on a piece of torn yellow paper and then handed it to me!
