I am blessed that I found Dr. Weinstein. The first rheumatologist I saw was awful. He did not take my complaints seriously. And he never obtained bloodwork on me to help guide his treatment. One of my complaints was hip pain. My previous doctor poo-poo'd it. Dr. Weinstein ordered hip x-rays, and we discovered I had osteoarthritis of the hips as well as a bony growth on the femur head. There was a reason outside of my autoimmune disorder that caused the hip pain. I am now headed for hip replacement thanks to Dr. Weinstein being so pro-active. The only downside related to Dr. Weinstein is that so many people want to see her, her appointments for new patients are booked. I made an appt. in March to see her in May. Once you're past that, the appts. can be booked sooner.

Dr. Weinstein is kind, considerate and listens to your issues. She does not think you are a hypochondriac or a complainer. She genuinely understands complex pain and auto-immune diseases. She is up to speed on latest treatments and techniques. She does not give-up on patients with chronic pain. Super helpful and a gem in the current health-care system.
