I find Dr. Smith to be terse and detached, and I have been unable to establish any kind of rapport with her over the last year that she's been my primary care doctor. In the last 2 visits she made 3 medication errors that I was lucky enough to catch. She seems too rushed to get involved in patient care or to pay attention to details. Sadly I must now try and find another doctor.

For many years I had the most wonderful doctor, she was driven and determined in finding answers to your issues, as well as empathetic and quite knowledgable. Sadly, she moved. I began seeing Dr. Smith for the past few years. Every visit I've had with her she has spent less than 10 minutes with me, which would be even less if I didn't ask questions. This was especially bothersome when I had full blown vertigo and was very confused and scared. That visit was a whirlwind and the only knowledge she gave me was "we'll, it's vertigo. It could last a day or it could last forever ". I left with many questions that I had to call her nurse later for more answers. I wouldn't know if Smith is knowledgable as she's in and out with few words, rarely uttering "bye" as she passes you onto a nurse. Instead of fully explaining the illnesses based on your symptoms Dr. Smith just lists the name of the illness. She is not personable and seems to be a docor that fashions the "quantity over quality".

I have been a patient with this practice for 13 years. When my PCP took a position in administration, I was assigned to Jennifer Smith. I have diagnoses of high cholesterol, high blood pressure and GERD and have had 2 annual physicals/medication management appointments with her, each lasting no more than 10 minutes; the last one was April 2013. An Rx refill was denied August 2013 because she stated I needed to see the specialist who was the original prescriber. The specialist had turned over the management of this medication in December 2008 to my old primary care physician. This is not the way to find out that a visit to a specialist, whose care I was no longer under, was needed. This information should have been provided in April. Phone calls were not returned in a timely manner regarding this situation and a crisis occurred due to lack of medication. Needless to say, this was a reprehensible and unacceptable practice. A new physician was identified by my old primary care physician.

Dr. Smith was right on time and made sure we evaluated all of my scheduled complaints. She is very knowledgable on current treatments and adjusted my medication levels making a big difference in quality of life. After much searching, I have found my Doctor. She is also a wonderful person to interact with.

I felt rushed and when I tried to explain to her my exact problems, she kept interrupting me, while she entered notes into the computer, not looking at me the entire time, she then scribbled down a prescription for arthritis medicine for my pinched nerve I said I had, sent me for x-rays and suggested I make an appointment to see a psychiatrist because I couldnt sleep for the pain I was experiencing from my pinched nerve. I will not be seeing this Doctor again.
