He wasn't helpful and he was very rude when I had concerns about giving my 4 month old 5 different vaccines at once. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. McClellan is the best pediatrician!!! He is caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. He is quick to give a referral to a specialist when needed. Both my children have needed to see specialists. My oldest had frequent high fevers and we were referred to a specialist who was able to give us more information on how to treat him with a great outcome. My youngest at her early infant check ups Dr. McClellan caught a ridge in the top of her head and immediately referred us to a neurosurgeon in Iowa City. Thanks to his early detection we were able to get the surgery she needed to allow her brain to grow properly. He put us in touch with the right doctors just in time. I was terrified to learn that my four month daughter would need surgery on her head at the time, but Dr. McClellan put me at ease. I am so thankful that we have Dr. McClellan for a pediatrician. and I recommend him to all my friends and family. He also has a great sense of humor with the kids, they love him.
