the best doctor That I have seen, he takes the time to explain my illness and how I can expect the meds to work.

Dr Fenton basically saved my life, when I felt there was no reason to live. I had been to several other Psychiatrics in the past but they provided no help whatsoever. Dr. Fenton however talked to me in depth to ascertain my problems. He prescribed proper medications for me and over time we determined what I needed to help me become a normal person. He is the ray of sunshine in my previously dark world.

I had an appointment on Friday morning and I showed up and was informed that he released me as a patient and did not bother to cancel the appointment. He failed to give me another doctor referral and left me without any medications and for some reason would not refill them! I'm now out of my Zoloft, gabapentin, and trazodone for three weeks until I can get in to be seen by a different doctor have another practice! He is very rude, inconsiderate, and arrogant.

Dr. Fenton is amazing! He spent a long time with me, and listened to everything I had to say. I was able to get everything off my chest, and it felt so good. He asked me lots of questions, and I could tell that he truly cares about me and my mental health. I am already feeling better, and am so glad that I gave him a try. As for the office staff, they were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Fenton if you are in need of a psychiatrist. He is very down-to-earth and non-judgmental. He helped me when no one else could. Dr. Fenton is very knowledgeable, and I felt completely comfortable with him. I am so happy that I found him!

This "doc" is nothing more than a pill-pusher. He lacks the compassion and understanding of veterans. Doesn't read or recall his own reports. You're in and out in 5 to 10 minutes. Sadly, I cannot recover the years of lost-cause visits.

Best experience with Psychiatrist thus far I have had the best experience with Dr. Fenton. I have been seeing him since Dec 2012. I have been in and out of Psychiatrists’ offices for 10 years, from "pill mills", to the five minute visit, to being prescribed a new med every visit. Dr. Fenton spends AT LEAST 30 mins visiting with you, getting to know you, learning your personality in his attempt to find a medical or environmental/qualitative reason (not necessarily a diagnosis) for your illness. He is very knowledgeable, talks full of information (alot!), listens intently and has a vested interested in each patient by forming a working relationship He told me "I am not going to give up on you, so do not give up on yourself". I have never heard that from any kind of Dr.

Bedside manner is awful. Still don't understand the doses I am suppose to take on my meds. No refills without paying ransom money. Interrupts me at times. Feels like I am part of an assembly line.

This is a HORRIBLE doctor. He doesn't care about the patient at all. He only cares about making money. I have never had a doctor charge me for calling in a prescription to a pharmacy, but he charged me for an office visit and pharmacalogically management to mail me a prescription when I was on bed rest and couldn't go in to the office. He doesn't care when you have an emergency and is completely unhelpful. He totally forgot about what we discussed between appointments and contradicted things in my history that I had to correct several times. The office staff is HORRIBLE. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor's office. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS.

STAFF: 1st impression was horrible; rude, brash & very unhelpful. I wouldn't be excited dealing w/ us ADHD, anxious, depressed PSYCHIATRIC patients all day either! However, it IS CRUCIAL that office management POLITELY & CLEARLY COMMUNICATE policies&payments(don't get me started)!!! WAITING TIME: YES, you have to wait a ridiculously long time in the waiting room, too long. Add an extra 45 mins; if just need written Rx refill script, inform recept & ask if you can see N.P. (always1st appt in a.m.,or 1st after lunch). DR. FENTON: The reason he always runs behind? He skips lunch/breaks to fit in urgent/emergency appts in FOR US!!! His medical expertise is vast & widespread; he has an uncanny ability to see the larger picture & putting together all the pieces of your "puzzle". He is truly a BRILLIANT&AMAZING doctor; he treats the person, not the symptoms. I'LL HAPPILY WAIT FOR THAT ANYDAY! :)

He was the first psyciatrist that I have seen who actually listened and asked questions before telling me his opinion. I went to him for a 2nd opinion and decided to stay with him because of the time he took to get to know my situation.
