Biography
Dr. Pitts is committed to providing high quality care to patients of all ages with a special interest in recreational, high school, and college athletes as well as occupational injuries. He completed his residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and a subspecialty fellowship at Washington University here in St. Louis dedicated to arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, knee, and hip. His goal is to get patients back to their desired activities and improve quality of life. Dr. Pitts offers the latest innovations in both non-surgical and surgical treatment of sports injuries, injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, as well as the most current treatments for osteoarthritis of the shoulder and knee, including partial and total joint replacements. Wonderful experience. Took the time to explain the issues with my ACL, but was also to the point. Discussed all the options and helped me make a decision, which ultimately was to not operate (I’m 57 and don’t need to play sports). Not sure what’s wrong with the person below, maybe they didn’t listen to his explanation bc I would recommend Dr. Pitts to anyone with an ACL injury.
