Was a blessing he was on call when I ruptured my disc's L4-L5 he was wonderful and explained everything. I would refer him to anyone I know!

Dr Torres made me wait for over 4 hours in the hospital just for a consult so I could be discharged. What a crock. Does he think none of us has a life? First if all I didn't want to be in the hospital and then to find out he was in the hospital and was called and told the nurse yes I know I have a consult, but I am leaving and will do the consultation when I return. When asked when he would return he said when I return. So here I sit for the last 4 hours doing nothing but getting more and more stressed at this so called doctor.

Dr. Torres was recommended to me by my primary doctor. His office is incredibly responsive and he was able to explain to me everything I needed to know about my surgery.

"Dr. Torres" suggested major neck/back surgery for me on my first visit. He based this decision on a few "fuzzy" films I managed to get from River Oaks Imaging & Diagnostics. He did not beleive further tests would be required and told me to set a date for surgery with a woman in the office. I told him that I wanted to get a second and perhaps third opinion before going forward. He directed me to the other doctors in his office for second & third opinions. I went to the Medical Center instead the neurologist there performed a days worth of tests before concluding I did not need surgery. Third doctor-not affiliated with previous 2 ran more tests before concluding surgery was not required. I did not have the surgery and have learned to manage my issues with mild exercises.
