I brought my daughter in last week for some complications she was having. Dr.Sigler could see how much I was upset and took the time to explain in detail the best plan to take. My daughter was very scared but when Dr Sigler entered the room she was very gental and had a calming way about her that made my daughter feel at ease and even giggle. Dr. Sigler is an excellent and caring pediatrician. My husband and I (both of us are physicians) are very pleased with the care she has provided our children.

Does not understand communicable disease epidemiology. Refused to order requested simple test to rule out communicable disease - stated it was too early and could only test for the disease after two weeks to rule out viral infection. We had been referred by the local health department for testing and my child had all the symptoms and had been exposed. Spent about 5 minutes with us and barely touched my child for a physical exam. She is not our regular physician, I have been happy with all the other physicians at Walnut Creek Pediatrics but I will refuse to see her in the future. It is ok to not know everything, but you need to be willing to look up information, trust other health professionals and trust parents. She was too full of herself to do that, that makes for a dangerous situation for kids.

I brought my child in today and Dr. Sigler went out of her way to explain in detail what my child needed. She was able to keep my child calm and relaxed during our visit when these visits usually tend to be stressful. Thank you Dr. Sigler
