I flew out to Mayo Clinic in search of answers. What I received was the WORST experience I have ever had. Dr. Miller couldn't even be bothered to come to my appointment to begin with and sent in a fellowship level doctor (the fellowship doctor was nice). Dr. Miller then came in for 10 minutes and told me to see a psychiatrist. As if I traveled all this way because it's in my head. Could care less that I weigh less than 100lbs and haven't been able to eat food in 8 months. Did not want to run a single test! Dismissed all of my other doctor's tests and suggestions (a top specialist at the #1 hospital in Colorado). Told me my previous SIBO results were "likely a false positive" but also refused to retest it. Told me to not take any of the medications my doctor had prescribed. I left with no answers, no solutions, no follow up, nothing. He begrudgingly ordered a few labs after I kept asking for answers to questions he couldn't or wouldn't bother to answer. Waste of money flying out here. Waste of a rental car and lodging. And a waste of time. Worst doctor I have ever been to. I have never felt so insulted in my life. Mayo, please remove this physician!
