Today while searching for a new physcian, I was absolutely horrified to see Dr. Lewis Stocks listed as the #1 top rated surgeon. In 1997, he operated on my 2 week-old daughter for pyloric stenosis at Rex Hospital. He performed the surgery in the wrong location and she almost died. She was immediately transferred to Duke University Medical Center, where she underwent a second surgery performed by a pediatric surgeon, in the correct location. A malpractice suit was filed and he was held accountable for his actions. My beautiful, now 15 year old daughter, now bears the visible abdominal scars of 2 surgeries, instead of 1. This account can be supported with appropriate factual documentation.

Dr. Stocks has operated on me and my family.On a visit he gave me some literature includiong multiple scientific reprints on Doctors Age Management.I studied them and spoke at length with Dr.Stocks about the program and decided to go with it. I and my wife are thrilled with the results.I am now 18 months into it. Personally my primary problem of seven yrs of severe chronic neck/shoulder pain following a neck fusion is completely eliminated.My pain medicine requirement after six months went to zero after years of ineffective relief. My energy is also up at least 100% plus. A superbly happy suprise is we now enjoy sex at least twice a week and twice is not my limit. My young wife is now a big fan of Dr. Stocks on that score. As I understand it the program of hormone replacement brings my 66 yr old levels back to approximately that of a 30 year old which is verified every 90 days with blood studies and adjustment made. I have discovered the program is common in Europe and large US cities.

Dr. Stocks and his staff are great. He is currentley treating my husband and I for agemanagement. His treatments have given us a good quality of life.We have more energy and feel like we are getting younger.We were told by friends of ours about him and how their lives had changed to the better so we went to see him. We currentley drive from wilmington to see him. It is well worth it.

Dr. Stocks is an amazing human being and a wonderful doctor - kind, compassionate, honest and knowledgable. I placed my life in his hands once and would not hesitate to do so again. Dr. Stocks is both a fantastic doctor and a great human being. I have a family history of cancer, so I see him twice yearly for breast ultrasounds. He also has been helping me with hormonal and female problems, and I've seen a marked difference in my symptoms. I am hopeful that we will resolve them non-surgically, but if I do require surgery, I want him to do it.

Dr. Stocks does "Anti Aging" medicine now. He put me on hormone therapy that has really changed my life. I like his approach and got good results although he charges way too much. His billing person was a real jerk to me. Although I paid all that I owed, when it was owed, she was upset that I paid by check and not by debit card (it "messed up her system"). She sent me a rude email and was even more rude to me on the phone. Where else can you go, pay $1500 and get treated like dirt for paying by check? Based on my experiences I would definitely suggest staying away from this doctors office. Doctor Stocks is cool but it isn't worth it. Steve H. Raleigh
