I recently had surgery to correct a deviated septum and to open up my sinuses. Dr. Kelsch was very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. There was a little swelling but overall if was a very quick recovery with minimal pain. I would recommend him to anyone!

I saw Dr Kelsch years ago when I was suffering with imbalance and sensory issues. The very first visit he saw a reaction in my eyes and he was spot on. Sent me for an MRI and VNG testing. I'm returning back to resolve a sphenoid sinusitis diagnosis and get hearing loss in my ear checked out. Hughly recommend him to anyone.

I recently had nasal surgery because the sides of my nose collapse. Dr. Kelsch reinforced them and I am breathing much better. There was some swelling, but overall a very quick recovery. I had previous nasal surgery with no help. This worked. Thank you Dr. Kelsch!!

Dr. Kelsch may be an excellent surgeon for all I know, but the practice that he is associated with does not seem to be on the up-and-up. I was supposedly scheduled for endoscopic surgery to remove a large polyp, but when I got home and looked at my appointment it note, it stated that I was scheduled for balloon sinuplasty. I called and was told not to worry; I would get endoscopic surgery. Why put one procedure in writing and tell me that I was actually going to get a different procedure? Is there a difference in the insurance reimbursement?

I was also told that a compounding pharmacy would contact me about a prescription I needed to get filled. No one would tell me what the medication was, and I was not given a choice of pharmacies. The compounding pharmacy called and said my insurance company refused to authorize the medicine (I don't blame them) and I would have to pay $183.

The written material I was given stated that I should not do anything strenuous for two weeks. Dr. Kelsch knew that the surgery was scheduled just before I was to leave on a backpacking trip in Europe. Again I called the office and was told to disregard the written instructions. There were some other minor problems in the written instructions I had been given, and I was told to disregard them, also.

I finally called to cancel the surgery. Dr. Kelsch called and was his normal, friendly self at first, but when I stated that I had lost confidence in his practice, he launched into a long, angry tirade. I waited for him to finish and repeated that I wanted to cancel the surgery. He angrily complied.

Dr. Kelsch may be and excellent ENT surgeon. I have no reason to believe that he isn't. However, the procedures of the ENT practice strike me as fishy. If I don't trust the practice he works for, how can I trust the surgeon?

Dr. Kelsch is one of the top ENT docs in town.......and for a reason! Dr. Kelsch, himself, has excellent "people" skills and made me feel at ease with my recent septum procedure. I was VERY apprehensive about surgery and he and his surgery staff really put me at ease before we entered the operating room. Now, for the septum procedure, all went to planned and I am breathing like a champion now. Great follow-up with the two post surgery visits (no co pay!) and I am as good as new now. Just a great doc with a fantastic practice (two locations in Scottsdale). Really happy with his personality as I had many many questions to the procedure and he took the time to answer completely like a great doctor should! 5-star rating!

Dr. Kelsch saw me for a lifelong history of sinusitis that required me to see doctors several times per year. He listened to my symptoms and noted that I had narrow sinus drainage pathways and recommended a balloon dilation of my sinuses. The procedure took about an hour in his office and I had minimal pain. The following day I could already breathe better. It's been a month and I have been feeling great. I recommend him highly.

let's just say my experience will dealing with Doctor Kelsch was not a good one. after waiting for well over 30 minutes after checking in and then when asking when i would get seen the staff said just a few more minutes. when my name was finally called the nurse interrogated me why i was in a hurry. after waiting easily another 15 minutes i saw the doctor. he seemed knowledgeable and explained things well enough but right from the get go he said he'd probably recommend surgery. i had a nasal polyp and a deviated septum which i did not even know. after the CT scan and follow up appointment he still pushed surgery even though i have no signs of infection, no trouble breathing and none of the ordinary problems or symptoms. after telling him i did not want the surgery he recommended at the minimum doing a biopsy on the polyp. another appointment was set and the polyp removed. of course during the procedure he mentioned at least 3 times it would be easier to if i'd have the surgery to fix the deviated septum. he really wanted to perform the surgery. after 3 weeks and 3 phone calls i finally got the results of the biopsy. he still wanted to schedule another appointment to discuss my results which were benign, for what purpose??? i will not go back there and wouldn't recommend him to anyone!!!!

He did an excellent job explaining what he could do for my broken nose and then resetting it with surgery. I was very pleased with the outcome of the surgery. After the surgery he checked up on me to make sure I was recovery fine. He was also able to provide a sports face mask prescription so that I might be able to have my insurance help pay for the cost. Thanks Dr. Kelsch!
