My experience with Dr. Patz was a horrible and I'm going to have problems with my shoulder for the rest of my life. After my surgery was over, he told me that they should have done more tests because the damage was a lot worse then he thought it was...wish he figured it out before the surgery....After the surgery, he told me to leave my arm in a sling and not move it until I saw him after 3 weeks. 3 weeks later I went on my appointment and he realized that my shoulder was frozen/locked in one position and he asked me why I didn't move the arm around more. I simply told him that I did what he asked me to do, but he said that if my shoulder was locked in one position I should have known to move it. Well, I'm not a doctor and this was a major surgery, I took his advice and followed it. He asked me not to move it at all and I didn't. So, he misdiagnosed my condition before the surgery and after the surgery his advice made things even worse. Stay Away!!!
