Great doc. I used to see him in Newburyport, and I just called to make another appointment and they told me his is now in private practice in Boston. That is a big loss for the community, and if you are reading this Dr. Hartshorn, we all thank you so much for everything you did here and will miss you. You are a great doctor and no doubt will do well with your new venture. Good luck!

Usually I don't leave reviews, but I wanted to for two reasons. First, I had a great experience with Dr. Hartshorn. I actually saw him for my knee and found out afterwards that he was a "shoulder guy." I decided to go through with my ACL with him because I trusted him, and it went great. Second, during one of our visits he and his assistant were having a conversation as he was coming into the room as apparently he had just gotten off of the phone. I caught wind of the topic so I asked for more detail, and apparently he had been awarded a "best doctor" award but declined it! I didn't know this, but I guess a lot of these "top doctors" awards are actually advertisements that the doctors pay for. So they tried to give him one, and he said no thanks. When I asked him why not, he said that he preferred not to be too busy because he liked to spend time with his patients. I thought that was cool.

Dr. Hartshorn is so nice. My friend referred me to him for a second opinion, and I am glad I went because the doctor before told me something different, and then I came to find that the other doctor was a generalist that didn't really do much shoulder surgery or had much experience in shoulder. Dr. Hartshorn diagnosed me, literally, within a minute. Better than that though, is that he was respectful and genuine. I highly recommend. him.

Dr Hartshorn is the nicest Dr I've ever encountered. He takes the time to make you feel comfortable and also takes time to explain things to you. Although I have yet to have mu surgery with Dr. Warner I am glad to know that Dr. Hartshorn is on his team.

Dr. Hartshorn is a very kind perrson, and I felt that he understood what my shoulder problem was. He took the time to explain it to me (more than other docs have done), and he was very thoughtful. It took a long time to get in there, but it was definitely worth the wait.
