Dr Tellez is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I have known her for 20 years, she has given my family kind, prompt, professional, care every time, and the same care regardless of which insurance we have at the time. Top notch eye doctor!

Dr. Tellez is a very experienced and knowledgeable doctor when I can get in to see her. Her appointments always seem to run late. Not sure if it is her, or her staff, but something is wrong in there. On my last visit, I sat in the waiting area for over an hour before I decided I needed to find a new doctor that has their act together. My appointment time was 1:30pm, left at 2:35pm, still hadn't seen anyone. I was told to call them when I was ready to set up an new appointment....yeah right. If you have nothing to do and have time to waste in a waiting room, then she is a good choice, otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tellez for nearly 20 years. She is AMAZING! I live near downtown San Antonio and I don't mind driving out to Leon Springs to see her. She is always polite, professional and always up-to-date with new research, treatments and technology. I don't know what I would do if she ever stopped practicing. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a optometrist who really knows how how take care of people. Her staff has always been the best. Upon entering her office, at least one person will greet you. When looking for frames, I have always had the pleasure of an honest opinion and the utmost care when looking for specific types of glasses. Once you see Dr. Tellez, you don't want to see anyone else!

Dr. Rachel Tellez is a consummate professional. Not only is she up to date with the latest technology in her office, her bedside manner is exceptional. My entire family is loyal to Dr Tellez as we also followed her from a previous practice. She is a keeper and we always recommend her to others seeking an exceptional optometrist. Also, there is a wonderful assistant in the office; Lilliana who is equally fabulous and we look forward to seeing her on our visits, as well.

Dr. Tellez identified a problem with my sons retina and sent us to a specialist. If she hadn't done so my son would have lost all eyesight in his left eye. We had been to other doctors and none of them had said anything to us about the scarring on his retina.

Our family as been going to see Dr. Tellez for years. We even followed her through an office move; she is that good! Would definitely recommend her.
