Dr. Gutierrez is a very attentive doctor; on the first visit he provided me a business card, on which he wrote his personal cell number and email on the back in case of emergencies. He thoroughly explained every procedure, was highly punctual, and made sure that my contact lenses were exactly right. He speaks very knowedgably and is respectful of his patients. The staff that helps him administer the eye tests and exams were very friendly and helpful. The staff for the insurance and the eyewear were very misleading and unhelpful; it is apparent that the staff requires more training and less apathy towards the patients and their needs. I have already been back to their location 4 times since my exam, and still no resolution on getting my glasses and they botched my insurance. I highly recommend you get your prescription from Dr. Gutierrez, and then go someplace else to get new glasses or contact lenses.

Great doctor, Staff not so great. Not willing to go the extra mile to accommodate an appointment. Most likely to push your appointment out for a week or two. Disappointing being that we are repeat patients.

My family has had Dr. Gutierrez as our optometrist for about 10 years. He is an excellent doctor; very personable, approachable, attentive and professional. His practice is up-to-date and he is current and well versed with new and up coming advances in optometry. A friend referred us and we have referred many of our friends who found the same qualities that keeps us returning each year or whenever we need to see him. He can answer any question and if he doesn't have an answer he will look for the information and forward it to you via his office staff. Wonderful Optometrist!

I have been a patient of Dr Gutierrez for years. Because he takes his time and does quality testing, I have been treated not only by him but also referred to Dr John Campagna, a specialist for glaucoma. The two of them caught it in time and I am being treated carefully. The pressure is now low and controlled. I had laser on my tear ducks to enlarge so that my glaucoma remains only in the first stage. I am so thrilled, for without Dr Gutierrez, my eye sight could have deteriorated so much. The staff is great and always remembers you. Everyone is so courteous and helpful. I refer him 100% and both thumbs up.

For the first time in my life, I left a doctor's appointment feeling like the doctor actually cared. Dr. Gutierrez took the time to explain the procedures he was doing during the eye exam. His staff was wonderful, helpful and very patient. This is the kind of doctor I wish were more than an eye doctor. He is wonderful. I can't recommend him high enough for anyone looking for a new Ophthalmology doctor!
