Dr. Altman is a very good doctor but he was never been there for me as PCP. he was always busy at MGH and Mount Auburn, Don't take patients if you are too busy, please.

About the Family Practice Group at Arlington, just "Be Careful" they gave me a tetanus shot vaccine, I went back home, and at night I had a high fever of 103 F degree, and Chills at the same time (never happened to me like this), I could not was, and I was thinking that will be it, I call them telling them that I'm in a very bad situation because of the tetanus shot, they told me "No", the vaccine won't do that to you, and I was like that for 48 hours, then start feeling better. I called my friend and he told me that the same thing happened to me with a bad tetanus shot vaccine. I called them again to confirm if there are other people are complaining but they said No (with a Big Lie), After three months I received a letter that I still have it saying: You need to take the tetanus shot vaccine again because the first one was bad, because the "Fridge" was not working properly and those shots are bad. I told them why you lied to me when I said that I am dying here because of your shot.

Well of course they were silent just to see if there is something bad so no one can sue them about it. after three months of confirming with all patients who took the tetanus shot, there is no problem then they decided to send letters to all of us saying you need to take the shot again. Do not trust this location, I moved to MGH and I feel much safer, at least they do much better than this Family Practice Group 11 Water St # 1A, Arlington, MA 02476. Be careful, they are the worse.

Be careful, don't take any vaccines, especially the Covid-19, it could be fatal.

Office is disorganized. An incorrect test was administered by one of the office nurses, resulting in 2 months of unnecessary c-diff while pregnant. Other test results were not provided even after a call to discuss them was offered, not even by mail. Doctor A is not very available, hours are sparse. He is sometimes flippant and not very thorough. Insists on allowing students to participate in private conversations and procedures. Insisted on trying to fix a problem three times before giving a referral to a specialist, even after being asked repeatedly to provide the referral. Has looked up treatments online while I was in the office, I could have done that myself. Overall an unsatisfying doctor patient relationship.

I have been seeing this Doctor for quite some time. He is thorough and willing to entertain some alternative thinking. I have recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so. Also appreciated is the lovely staff of RNs, PAs, and other Docs who will happily see you if Dr Altman is unavailable.
