This woman nearly killed me.In my fourth month of pregnancy with my second child,I began experiencing severe stomach pain, weight loss, fevers and bleeding."Dr." Cannon belittled me,repeatedly asking if this was my first child, etc. This went on for MONTHS.The pain was so intense I could not care for myself. All she would do was hook me up to a fetal monitor. It was NOT fine.In my late 7th month of pregnancy,I lost a lot of blood, fever shot up to 107,and I was taken to the ER.When she showed up, she acted as if I was creating a problem for HER,asking "What are we going to do with you?" Turns out, my appendix had RUPTURED back in my fourth month, and instead of killing me-which it should have-it created a plethora of health problems that spanned YEARS.Drs and nurses from other floors were coming to advise me to sue her, which I attempted to do,but she did not take any relevant notes. All she had needed to do was a simple blood test to see that I had a MASSIVE infection, she did nothing.AVOID.

In 1997 I was a patient of another doctor of whom she was on duty the weekend my son was born. I was only six months pregnant and had gone into labor and very ill. she showed up in place of my doctor, had he done his job I would not have been at the hospital in the first place. Any how, My son ended up grossly premature, when I asked simple questions like what are the chances of his survival she told me I needed mental help. I threatened to call my attorney. she did deliver my son but then in !999 when I ended up in preterm labor again I was hospitalized several weeks due to hemorrhage. When my son was taken through C-Sec. the words of the doctor who delivered said my god who did this to her. My third child was born premature due to a **** job by Dr.Cannon. I was told I could not carry again, almost had to go through a hysterectomy but luckily avoid that and had to have a tubal after a miscarriage. I wanted to sue her but my husband was afraid we would receive bad medical care.

I began seeing Dr.C when I was 16 years old for polycystic ovaries-she was great-Aetna.My opinion changed dramatically when I became prego at 21 .I got sick with near pnemonia and could barely breathe.I called the exchange to see if she thought that I should go to the ER and she huffed and said "umm I don't know, if you feel like it".It made me feel like I was overreating.I went to the ER and was given breathing treatments, antibiotics, prednisone inhaler, and a list of things to help with my breathing. My son was breach and she tried to do an external version. It was unsuccessful,no fault of hers.I started feeling like I was leaking the next evening.I called the exchange and when she called me back she said "with the way he is positioned you would know if your water broke".I tried to ask a Q and she hung up on me.Later on I was in the ER and had an emergency Csection within two hours of the phonecall.I will never recommend or go back to Dr.C.She's condescending and bothered by questions.

Dr. Cannon is great. I have gone to her for many years. She listens to all my "opinions" and my crazy internet information then does what she is very knowledge in doing...being a doctor. Many of us think we know better because we read an article etc. She doesn't down play that but just like any expert she knows she needs to determine what needs to be done. Patients need to realize just because they read an article it doesn't make them an expert. I don't believe she is taking any new patients. I feel greatful to be on the list of patients she does see.

I have to agree with the negative comment with Dr. Cannon. I went to Dr. Cannon for at least 10 years and have since changed doctors. It got to the point where she wouldn't listen to anything I would say - it was only her opinion that counted about my health and what I said didn't matter. I think she talks down to her patients, like their children and I don't appreciate being treated like a child. Anyway, I am very happy with the new doctor I have chosen because he talks to me - not down to me.

I've lived in 9 cities and therefore have experienced many OBGYN's. Jennifer is the best ever. She is highly regarded and has a tremendous reputation. She has a very busy practice but never seems too rushed to talk or explain things to me. I cannot relate to the rather negative comments in another rating. Both my adult daughter and myself are big fans of Dr.J.Cannon.

I went to see her initially and got a bad vibe but thought I would go for a second time anyway. After my second visit I told the receptionist that I'd find someone else when it was time to schedule a 6 month appt. When she repeats back what you just told her, she gets it wrong. I was concerned about something so I asked a couple questions and then she snaps back and changes around what I said, saying that I was being "contradictory" then gave her reasons as to why. Her why included things I NEVER said. So of course I never got a useful answer, just her judgement. She's insulting, condenscending and interruptive. I couldn't even finish what I was saying without her interrupting me and telling me I was wrong. I was talking about a part of my medical history she didn't have information on. How would she know how much protein I had in my diet 5 years ago or so? If you want a doctor who won't try to make you feel like an idiot, try someone else. Worst doctor I've had in any specialty
