My husband was a patient of Dr. Love seeing him regularly for checkups as needed, when he started have a serious pain in his stomach he went back to Dr. Love and explained this pain was much worse than ever before. We were told it was divertioulosis just to take the pills Dr. Love prescribed. We ask for blood work to make sure because this time is was different and he told us he was 100% sure it was divertioulosis to go home and take it easy. The next day the pain became more severe so we called Dr. Love's office and he assured us the pills would help. One day later we called again and explained we were not getting better and ask if we should go the ER he assured us we were wasting his time we would be ok. That night we went to the ER and 10 hours after the ER doctor ran a CT Scan my husband was in a 7 hour surgery to remove 15 inches of his colon because it had enlarged to the size of a baseball from infection. When we ask Dr. Love about this he said he was right on track??!!

My dad was told he had the flu by Dr Love... for six months, come on! Had cancer of the pancreas, another Doctor found it but it was to late! I love you dad!

What an amazing physician as well as an compassionate, caring person. He is one of the only remaining ones that will actually sit down, directly look at you as you speak, without interrupting and allow you the time to express yourself. He examines you whether you are there for a major or minor situation. I have lived in Lawton all of my life and experienced 3 0r 4 other physicians. I don't feel the need to list their misgivings and shortcomings butI would NEVER express my praise unless I felt it would benefit someone who is searching for a wonderful, compassionate physician. Dr. Love is has all of these qualities and many more.

I had an issue where I needed surgery at CCMH. Where Dr. Love is on the board of directors. Dr. Love knew about my surgery because I informed him and the doctor who was doing the surgery talked to him. After the surgery Dr. Loves office did not want to sign off on the insurance. When I went to ask why and if I could talk to Dr. Love, I was told by the office personnel to leave or they will call the cops. I do not recommend his office and will never have anything to do with that office.

Dr. Love was not my doctor, but he was my mother's doctor, who had COPD. During a time my mother was in the hospital, my brother and I both were there, and asking questions to understand what was happening and what treatments he was ordering. My brother was a respitory therapist and had some experience with this disease, so he was able to ask every specific questions. In the middle of my mother's stay in the hospital, Dr. Love decided to stop being her doctor, leaving her with no one because he did not like us questioning him. We had to scramble in order to find another doctor to continue her care as he was not going to even do that. Luckily we were able to find a wonderful doctor. My mother is now in heaven looking down on us all with her love and compassion. I would never recommend anyone use Dr. Love, ever.

Very kind man and was always willing to answer any questions I had when my regular doc blew-off my questions. He reminds you of what doctors were like 50 years ago.
