Dr. Leckman is very opinionated and unwilling to listen. He misdiagnosed a serious illness and didn't order any tests.

If this is the same SW Hosptal Dr. that saw me after I had a breakdown, he is one of the reasons I will never go back. I needed help, not to be sent to Talifero with a bunch of criminals. The nurses knew but he was too arrogant to care. I thought he was a mental health doctor. I think he is more like a mental health patient.

He explains things well to me, but my wife cant understand him. He has saved my life twice, the hospital was going to send me home he said no and lucky for me I was in the hospital when my appendix reptured. The only thing I know that might be bad is he is a pill pusher.

I am very pleased with Dr.Leckman. He was my 2nd opinion solicitated. I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and was unable to stand or walk for very long. He diagnosed me after multiple tests including bloods and cat scans. The other doctor David Maury had not taken any tests even though I complained for 2 years of pain in my legs and arms. Dr. Leckman also treated me in spite of me losing my medical coverage due to losing my job because of all of this. He allowed me to pay monthly and also cut my bill in half. He helped me also to get on a free prescription plan until I finally won my Social Security Disability two years later. Dr. Leckman is a very caring individual and I'll always be grateful to him for it. I highly recommend him.

Extremely rude. Visits pts at night so as not to run into any family members. Horrible bedside manners. His name should be Dr. Kovorkian. Willing to send my father home to die! That was 4 yrs ago. My father is still alive thanks to getting him under the care of a REAL physician. I cannot say enough to say how horrible this man is. He should NOT be practicing medicine!!!!!!!!!
