No bedside manner at all to the point of being rude at times. Did something to my left eye causing my kitchen cabinets to appear to be crossing the floor toward me by 3-4ft. Made everything come too close to me ,print was huge like a photo with the pixels seperated so the picture is no longer there. My vision went to 20/300and I could not see with this eye. 2and 1/2years later i'm still having trouble getting this eye corrected. I do see somewhat although nothing like I had. My vision had been 20/20 with glasses before he did this. When I told him I couldn;t see he and his manager ptoceeded to kick me out of his practice I received two registered letters telling me not to come back. I wouldn't give this egotistical man the time of day. The office manager wasn't helpful at all In my book the staff and the Dr receive a one and a minus one

He is the example of an MD that no one wants. I was a new patient there a few years ago and saw Dr. Mann. He was tourough and explained everything. I recently came in as a emergency and saw Dr. Schorr. What a disappointment. The man sat there, looked in my eyes, never said a thing. He wrote some things down...took two phone calls and preceded to belittle one of his staff. I wouldn't return to see him if I was dying. He never even acknowledged me. This old geezer needs to retire and go sit on a rock.

My wife was referred to Dr. Schorr by our opthalmologist in Brooklyn for difficult cataract surgery. During a presurgical visit Dr. Schorr deduced that my wife likely had a blocked carotid artery. Subsequent tests showed that the artery was 80% occluded. That is why I'm writing this. My wife owes her life to Dr. Schorr. Oh, by the way, the cataract surgery was a great success.

Fabulous. I hd been to other docto'r without success, we discovered the cause of my poor eyssight on the first visit (taking the time to do various tests)and changed my eyesight significantly. I owe him a lot of gratitude. The walls of his office are filled with thank yous from patients over the years.

Any positive comments on this very rude man must have been posted by his family or friends (assuming he has any). In all my 40 years in the medical field, I have never before encountered such a rude, egotistical, unhelpful person. I have been here 3 times. He has been at least 1 hour late each time. The worst was a 2 & 1/2 hour wait while one of his receptionists took orders from a clothing catalog while she continually put callers on hold until they hung up. When I told the doctor about this, he told me to mind my own business and if I didn't like it, I could "take a hike!" Needless to say, I did!

I have been seeing Dr. Schorr since I was a child for over 20 years. Although he has always provided excellent medical care, he's certainly softened up over the years! When I was in my teens I was diagnosed with "pre-glaucoma". As glaucoma is rare in younger people, Dr. Schorr decided to send me to Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia for a consultation with a specialist. That is the sign of a true professional: someone who is able to admit that he is not an expert on every sub-category of opthalmology and that there is someone out there who is more qualified to work with certain conditions/issues. There are volumes of scrapbooks in his office of thank-you letters from satisfied patients. After the soldiers from Picatinny returned from the Gulf War, Dr. Schorr organized some kind of clinic that provided free care to the veterans who weren't getting what they needed from their insurance (not 100% sure of the particulars, just know that Dr. Schorr led other dr.'s into volunteering)

My family has gone to Dr. Schorr for over 20 years. Outside of being an excellent doctor he is a warm and wonderful human being, very caring about his patients. His office staff is top notch.

Rude. Rushes from one patient to the next without taking time to explain. Lies.
