Though I'm 20 years old, I still see Dr. Deibel, and I have for around 6 years or so. She has always been very courteous and empathetic, especially in trying life experiences. One particular aspect about her I truly appreciate is her reluctance to push medication. My father and I have always been very skeptical of the pharmaceutical industry and their effect on the medical community at large, so this is a very refreshing quality of hers. This doesn't mean she won't prescribe medication at all, but rather weighs the pros and cons (and informs you of her view of the best course of action) before writing a prescription, contrary to the many doctors who pass out medication like Halloween candy. My only problem isn't with Dr. Deibel herself, but rather the fact that I'm 20 and still going to a pediatric office. It feels a little infantilizing waiting in a room full of cartoon stickers with Nickelodeon on the television surrounded by children around a third of my age. All in all, if you're a parent and looking for a doctor for your child, Dr. Deibel is a solid decision to choose, and her care will leave a positive lasting effect on your child's well being.

I do NOT recommend this doctor. She diagnosed my child with allergies and asthma and put her on a treatment plan. Took my child to a specialist who took her off the plan because she did NOT have asthma or allergies. She had a deep infection in her sinus cavities that the doctor wasn't taking care of which caused us to visit at least twice a month. When I told her I no longer had my child on her plan, she yelled at me in front of my children and left the room to call the specialist. She was unprofessional, rude and never apologized for her poor behavior. She wouldn't believe that she could possibly be wrong. She refused to see my child after that. Her nurses were nice and the front staff was ok, but no one was overly friendly and they took forever to return calls and after hour issues. They have too many patients and you just become a number. They try to rush you out of appts quickly so they can get on to the next person. It was always stressful being there. Won't go back.
