I love Almouie Pediatrics they always go above and beyond for their patients. They have separate waiting rooms as well as ventilation systems. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. Also, they have various locations such as San Antonio area, New Braunfels, Austin, and the Corpus Christi area. Perfect when you're on vacation and your children get sick.

His Portland staff is extremely rude. They're not the brightest bunch of kids on the block. They are unprofessional and resemble adolescents. They need to be replaced with bright and helpful staff members. I recommend anybody that needs a Dr who has a mature and sweet staff to try the corpus Christi children's clinic on Alameda.

Been taking my child here for 9 months now. Every time the doctor comes in they refer to my child as a "he" when she's a girl. They never look at her charts before going in to see her. The nurses are rude and not that knowledgeable. I waited almost 2 hours just for the doctor to listen to my daughters breathing and check the normal stuff. Took less than a minute. Waste of my time. Now been waiting an hour for shots. I don't know weather to say something or not while my child is asleep. Front desk lady is very rude when you try to find out when you should recieve a call for a specialists. Also they who call the wrong number for my daughters reminders. Took me over 5 times for them to fix it after they told me to put the correct one on the paper. Definitely gonna switch!

I've been taking my baby for 3 months now since a newborn. I am not pleased with this facility at all. We have never seen Dr. almouie but have seen Dr. Mathew and Dr. Iffy. I feel like a lot of what I say is dismissed or they just have a blank look unless it's something they are familiar with. Dr. Iffy is very knowledgeable but seemed to be in a hurry trying to walk out several times before I was done asking questions. The nursing staff is the worst I've ever come across. They have no knowledge at all. I can't tell you how many times I've been told "I don't know". One nurse even told me the wrong dose of Tylenol. They never return calls. When my baby had bloody stool they didn't want to see her until the next day. I pushed for a visit ASAP. They are very lazy. I feel as if I have been blamed for things bc of my diet since I breastfeed. I can't tell you how many times I've told them I don't take in dairy. They also wanted to push formula and suggested I give my baby almost double the intake as a newborn. To this day I still have not gotten a return call from the MD or nurse regarding a plan of care for my baby. I have definitely switched physicians and am very pleased.

Finding Dr. Almouie is like playing Where's Waldo. I have been taking my kids to their clinic for years and I haven't seen Dr. Almouie in a few years. It became more noticeable once I started getting PA's that clearly didn't know what they were doing. My son has asthma, the PA switched his med he's been using since forever when he got sick and then told me to come back the next day so another PA could basically make sure her diagnosis was correct, another copay cause she doesn't know what she's doing?? They ask my daughter's allergies every visit!! Where is the record of this?? The PA that switched my son's meds sent the wrong perscription to the pharmacy. We didn't even have a machine for that medication. They have completely fallin off. I'm a single mom of two and every penny counts. I am currently looking for another pediatrician today. Why? I need paperwork signed for the youth center for my son's meds and even though he was just there last month they want me to take him in. COPAY!

Absolutely love Dr. Almouie and his staff. I went there when I was younger and no other doctor could find out what was wrong with me, my mother took me there and right away he sends me to the emergency room to have surgery... I now take my children there and everything is still perfect :)
