I had dr mark grubb as my spinal surgeon for a second time. I remember from my first surgery his advice about any minimal evasive surgeries and he practices that. My incisions are less than 1 inch and pretty painless. Dr. Mark is so caring and compassionate. He and Tina went above and beyond to get my surgery scheduled before year end because i had my high deductible met in very late December. Alot of doctors would not have came in day after Christmas to do a non life threatening surgery....but he did! My sons have experienced his expertise with their backs also. When we have any spinal issues he will be the one we see. I would highly recommend Dr. Grubb and his wonderful staff... Awesome !

Dr. Grubb performed surgery on my back in 2007, so in January when my leg pain would only allow me to travel or walk short distances, I knew I needed to revisit him. My spinal stenosis has occurred in a different area. I knew what I needed and Dr. Grubb comfirmed it. Within 2 weeks I was scheduled for surgery. Whlen I became aware that I was in recovery, the first thing I realized was no pain. I was in a wonderful hospital, St. Vincent's Charity, with great nursing care. During the night, murses would ask my pain level and my answer was the same eah time--zero. I came home, a four hour drive with some restrictions; however, I was able to care for our home,retruned to Akron 2 weeks later for follow-up and have had no problems.

The wait to see him on three different occasions was over 40 minutes. Tina, a member of his office staff does not follow through with paper work we got no information from them on when to be at hospital for surgery until the day before. Now going through a surgery again with a different doctor since Dr Grubb left bone fragments in my back that caused nerve damage. Would not recommend him to anyone!
