I have always used AGMC and find them to be convenient to my location with a helpful and friendly staff and doctors. ER wait is shorter compared to other local hospitals. The Montrose Urgrnt Care has a even shorter wait with the same competency.

Horrible waiting for a scheduled radiological procedure. Felt like bearded cattle. Very inconvenient to people who are not feeling well.

I took my disabled son to the hospital due to a fall at his workshop where he hurt his shoulder. We arrived at the hospiyal at 11:36 am we were put in the waiting room where we stayed until 4:30. My son had a seizure and a fall and we were just treated like nobodies. I get that the hospital takes patients by priority but when i asked when my son would be seen they wiuld only say there arenpeople ahead of him. When he was finally called to a exam room we waiting another hour before anybody came in. They fonally came in and took some blood and then an xray. So now it is close to 6 o'clock when we find out that my don has in fact broken hia shoulder. So yhen they decide to start an iv and do more blood test. It is now around 8:30 and my son is in pain and hungry and neither of those situation are being dealt with. Finally after asking if my son could have something to eat because remember i said we arrived before lunch they bring him a tray with cold green beans and cold mac in cheese and warm milk. Around 9:15 they brought him a percocet for pain a sling and papers to go home. I was concerned and ask the dr about his shoulder because when he has a seizure he raises his arms over his head and shakes them so i asked if there was a way to secure his arm so that he could not do that until he saw an orthopedic dr and she said no ot will be ok, i dont know about you but raising a broken shoulder in my opinion especially during a violent seizure is not good. We were given a sling which is worthless, a prescription for percocet and sent on our way at 9:50 pm. After 10 hours in th er, i felt like nothing was done to secure my sons injuries until we can see an orthopedic surgeon. We felt very unsatisfied with the care, the information and the support that we received. I wish i could say that i will never have to step in that hospital again but unfortunately it is linked with his neurologist from cleveland clinic so we have to continue to receive inadequate care. Very unhappy.

Akron General is fine and well. However, it is a resident, Dr. Sese who insights me to never come back. Sese is clearly distracted and speaks of male doctors too much. I do not feel comfortable with someone so easily distracted. My apologies to Akron General, as they are generally a good hospitality.

Very friendly, knowledgeable facility. Always makes you feel like a person, not a number or inconvenience. I would never go anywhere else or allow my family to go to the other hospital.
