I've been seeing Dr. Revels for many years now due to degenerative disc disease and several herniated discs. His knowledge and explanations of my situation have always been spot on. He is not a knife happy surgeon which is the best thing I can say about him. He leaves it to his patients to come to that decision on their own. His PA and surgical nurse are also extremely competent and caring. Given the size of AOC, it is inevitable that I sometimes have to wait but not often. However I am never made to feel rushed when I finally see them. They all take their time to understand my current issues. Dr. Revels has performed several surgeries on my neck and back and I would not trust anyone else in Mobile to care for me.

I've been told by several phyicians not affiliated with AOC that Dr Revels is the top spine surgeon in Mobile. I've had several appointments with him in regards to herniated discs in my back. He has always been very courteous and answers all of my questions. He never makes me feels rushed and explains things to me in laymans terms rather than medical jargon. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Wait time was not long. He spent plenty of time with me to explain my condition and his recommended treatment, which helped me greatly!

Long wait time. Seemed unconcerned after he did surgery. Nurse was made rude comments.

Sometime you get the PA. The staff is slow. In this large practice you are moved around like cattle. I have used other doctors in the group with great success. This is the first time I have used this dr.
