I have NEVER written a review before, but feel compelled to do so in this situation. I have gone to doctors at McBride Clinic for years & have always been treated exceptionally well with respect, kindness & a willingness to help until recently. I have been a patient of Dr. McArthur's for 4-5 yrs. I like him & his P.A., Meryt; they are both very nice & I am confident in their knowledge, but his nurse, Robin, is another story. She is very rude, disrespectful & has an over-inflated sense of confidence in her authority & job security. I understand she is very courteous to old people & flatters them so they think she is so kind, it's all a facade. When I disagreed with her over somethings she told me which wasn't true, she didn't even show me the respect to rise from her chair behind the desk as she yelled at me & told me, "I FORBID you to see Dr. McArthur" & then, sat there an discussed it with her co-worker & smirked. (FORBID??? SHE forbids???!!!) When I walked off to inform the lab that I was not able to get the information I needed to obtain further testing, she called other people in the office to see if I had discussed what ocurred with any other office staff, how petty & immature. As I returned to the front, I did indeed ask if anyone else had experienced a problem with Robin. I was tactfully & quite confidentially informed I was not the first patient or even staff to question her attitude & behavior. Unbelievable! I was surprised McBride would continue her employment especially when there are many, many R.N."s out there who would love to have her job; she only has to set up tests & return calls. All I've ever seen her do is show a patient to a room & sit at the desk gossiping. Why do doctor's offices employ people like this when they don't have to? At my next appt. when I brought this to Dr. McArthur's attention, he absentmindedly said he was sorry for the event & dismissed the whole thing. Perhaps he is just looking forward to retirement & doesn't care enough to address the problem but I refuse to pay my hard earned money to be treated this way. With so many doctors to choose from, so long spent in waiting rooms, the wait to get an appointments & the cost for services, we need to send a message that we, the patients, who make all these jobs & salaries possible, are not going to be treated with disrespect. I know Dr. McArthur has many patients so won't miss me or my money in the least but with so many people out there wanting jobs, how sad it is for employers especially doctors to continue to hire & retain one such as Robin who represents you and your organization so poorly.

Dr. McArthur & the staff at the McBride Clinic are awesome. He spends the time that is needed with each patient to help them with their illnesses. When you call the office is get a live person and the nurses always call back the same day. If I have had to wait it is because a patient in front of me needed a little extra time. He is compassionate and very knowledgable about Lupus.

Took 3 months, after my Primary Care Dr. had faxed my file, for him to decide to take me as a patient. Then 2 months to get an appointment. Test results took forever.....you get the picture. Finally got a diagnosis, but other drs. say his diagnosis is wrong so my Primary Care referred me to another dr. Talk about waste of money and driving to OKC.
