I was transferred to him. He was convinced that I had Partial Seizure disorder when I had been diagnosed by 5 previous doctors as having a generalized seizure disorder. I asked him to sign FMLA Papers for me at work, so if I had to be absent, it wouldn't count against me. He refused saying he didn't sign for patients who were seizure free for 3 years. I got upset and he told me I had psychological problems. He wrote in his drs notes that the only reason I would need FMLA papers was due to my psychological unbalance. I didn't know this at the time, and agreed to try a new medicine. He didn't prescribe me the right amt or right medicine, which resulted in a tonic clonic seizure.I was absent from work for 5 days because I got hurt. When I called to tell him, he refused to call me back until another dr in the practice called me and was surprised at the little amt of medicine i was put on. When i went to a different dr. I was told I was put on the wrong meds and promptly taken off.
