Dr. K did a great job. Had my shoulder done for a torn labrum and general looseness. At about 6 weeks post op right now and feels great. Very little pain and almost complete range of motion back. He estimated 3 months total before I am back in the gym and at this rate I feel very confident that is an accurate time frame. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I had surgery with Dr. Klimkiewicz around Feb 2009 to repair my shoulder. He did an outstanding job. It was almost back to normal by July 2009. He gave all the time necessary to listen to my concerns. I highly recommend him.

I was diagnosed by three doctors that I had arthritis in my left knee. I thought my running days were over. All three doctors told me that I could not run anymore and two suggested surgery to "clean up" my knee. I initially went to Dr. K. to see if he could do anything to help me manage the arthritis. He looked at the x-rays and MRI that I had that led to this diagnose and told me it was incorrect. The MRI images were not in focus plus there were not enough images to make the dianosis. He spent about 30 mins with me versus the other doctors who spent under 10 mins. I was diagnosed with a knee tracking disorder and given a prescription for PT. I was just estatic and angry since these other doctors were ready to perform surgery on me the next day.

Dr. K was the best! Another surgeon operated on me and told me to be patient for the result. But a year later, I still could not walk. So a doctor friend who specializes in knee replacement recommended Dr. K to me. Dr. K explained to me what's wrong with my knee and recommended a surgical procedure. He told me to research on internet about the procedure. He also answered all my questions via emails. He performed the surgery in September 2009 and I started running in May. He didn't tell me to be patient. He told me that his job is to get me up and running again! He succeeded! My son now is his patient too! There are many licensed orthopedic surgeons but not every surgeon is trustworthy. I trust Dr. K completely. he's not someone who needs to add you as a patient for the extra revenue. He's in already in very high demand! Be aware that he has a busy schedule so be prepared for your visit I bring a notebook with questions. But in case you have more questions post-vist, just email him.

Fantastic physician and surgeon. He has conducted procedures on my knee and shoulder (both with excellent results and fast recovery) and I have recommended him to friends and family with similar glowing reviews. Specifically, Dr. K explains the procedure to you and doesn't treat you like a fool, is upfront with his diagnosis, and is not too eager to recommend surgery but will do so without hesitation if you do NEED it. If you're about to go see him, I recommend researching your ailment ahead of time, don't be afraid to ask questions, speak up, and you will have an excellent visit. I brought notes with prepared questions each time and it worked great. His staff often overschedule him though AND he sometimes gets emergency cases, so try to get an appt either early morning or right after lunch to avoid the rush. Again: he is a-ma-zing.

Very reassuring, confident manner. Efficient and effective in the the office. Overall the outcome of the knee surgery was excellent. However ended up spending 3 days in hospital due to infection after the surgery. The Dr. was very reluctant to admit that it was in fact an infection. Regardless, I would go back to him for future problems.

Dr. K has a great bedside manner. He is very reassuring and answered all of my questions. He also answers questions through email (he answers them between 5-6 AM.) The surgery went great and recovery is on track. I highly recommend him.

A couple of years ago Dr. K did knee surgery on me. A couple of days after surgery I showed all of the symptoms of a blood clot in my leg. I called his office and they had me come in a few days later. Dr. K said "it could be a blood clot but I don't think that it is". He said that he would schedule a doppler test anyway. His office later called and said that they couldn't get me in for a week. Dr. K said that it was OK to wait that long. As soon as I got the doppler test they admitted me for a blood clot. They asked why I waited so long- almost 2 weeks. Later at a follow-up appointment, Dr. K made the comment to me "you're my third patient to get a blood clot recently". The knee surgery went OK but the blood clot could have killed me.

Excellent and came highly recommended. He took his time with me and patienty answered all questions. While most surgical doctors would have immediately recommended surgery for my condition (hip labral tear), he encouraged PT and further visits. PT didn't work, so my surgery with him is scheduled for July. I have full confidence!
