As a past paitent of Dr Bigi's, My mom and my sister began to see her awhile back, which I was and still appalled t from what my family was told by her. Big told my family that , "I refused to continue working with her(meaning myself) because she abuses pain medication". Although that was not and is not true, isn't that a HIPA violation true or not? Furthermore, she added that in my medical record. After years of going through hell to get it removed, my now competent doctor for the last several years had it removed.

Dr. Bigi asks the right questions. She never makes you feel rushed, and she wants to know your questions and concerns. I have already recommended her to friends, family, and coworkers. She is a wonderful doctor.

I prefer an alternative in medicine and Dr Bigi is a great resource... Instead of prescribing medication after the first visit, she analyzes your lifestyle and refers to preventive medicine before prescribing prescriptions. She is very down to earth and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Dr Bigi..

I agree with the comments from the pt 4/08 - I also was happy to follow this Dr. into her private practice (after being a pt for 10 yrs), but felt compelled to find another doctor after being treated poorly by her office staff. I hope that by now there has been a change as I felt Dr. Bigi was a caring and compassionate doctor -truly I was torn about my decision to find another medical provider.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bigi for over 20 years. I have followed her throughout the years. She is such a caring concerned doctor who truly loves her job. In Northbrook, appointments are easy to get. Her staff is great as well. I highly recommend her.

This is by far the most caring doctor that I've ever used. Now my daughter and friends go to her too. She's like the female double for Marcus Welby, MD. I would and have recommended her to everyone.

I was a long time paitent of Dr. Bigi's. I followed her from her first practice to the next. However, when she went into private practice she took several of the staff with her from ENH. Trying to get an appointment with her kept getting delayed due to insurance I was told. Finally I spoke directly with dr. Bigi and she told me I was not a "good fit" for her practice because I never follow thru with her recommendations. This is very untrue. While at ENH one of Dr. Bigi's nurses had been extremely rude and offensive, which I reported to Dr. Bigi. This nurse moved with Dr. Bigi to her new practice. When I asked Dr. Bigi if this can be the actual reason for not seeing me see agreed due to the confrontation with her nurse. After over twenty years of being her paitent, I was appaulled that she would refuse her services to me because of a nurse. The un-professionalism of Dr. Bigi suprised me greatly. Trust...HA!

Dr. Linda Bigi is very dependable. She is very booked, and is hard to get appointments with, because she is such a kind lady. She always works hard and tries her best.

Dr. Bigi is a good doctor, but she is impossible to get an appointment with! She is only two days a week. It takes 2+ months to come in for a checkup and if you are sick, you may as well forget it and try to see someone else. The office staff at Glenbrook Family Care is generally rude and unhelpful as well. Dr. Bigi is knowledgeable but she makes you feel rushed a lot of the time. I guess I don't blame her, considering she is usually overbooked and has appointments back to back to back. But that is no way to make patient's feel they have received proper medical care.
