Glenbrook

Very attentive staff, always nice no matter what time they came in to check up on you.

I have had several surgeries at Glenbrook. They have been nothing but superb! I think a lot of people think the nurses are there just for them and that they should be there within seconds. Having had so many surgeries, I have learned that they do the best they can, and if you are nice to them, they will do their best to help you as fast as they can. They offered encouragement and sympathy. And, if I had questions, the tried to explain the answer or ask someone else for me. I would rather go to Glenbrook than any of the other area hospitals. And, I have had experiences in all of them.

Very understaffed.Waited 30 minutes for my nurse call button to be answered.Nurses that were on duty very untrained. Could not give shots or take blood properly. Awful pain when they tried. Many nurses very smug and unfeeling not to mention the staff doctors who were not available most of the time. When drs were available, they were unconcerned and evasive when asked questions. So called "patient advocate" was useless in my attempts to get questions answered. I will do all I can to avoid this place and I will not send my family there. Very bad experience, and I was there 6 weeks.
