DO NOT go to this office! Dr. Sobel was extremely rude, insulted his staff, and was not interested in hearing my son's issues. He claimed that the only thing ENT's do is tonsillectomies and adnoid removals, and that we should go to our pediatrician (our peds recommeded we go to him). He offered no support at all, and was mean to us. I can't believe this doctor is still in practice.

DO NOT LET HIS CREDENTIALS FOOL YOU! He is one of the worst humans I have ever met. He has absolutely no interest in understanding his patient’s needs or prior medical history. My daughter had a tonsillectomy 3 days ago. Her post op pain has been horrific. I called him to seek guidance on how deal with her pain after 3 days when her pain level continued to make her out of her mind and he said to me “ then she shouldn’t have had this surgery” As to insinuate that the reason we had the surgery was irrelevant. Really? Unbelievable. I only wish I would have know about this site and his character before I in trusted him with my daughter’s care.

I wish I would’ve read these before I went to Dr Sobol.
But I have been a patient of another doctor in that office.
Dr Sobol was very abrupt and rude from his first words, you have to sit up Miss and I have to turn the light on!
BEFORE he examined me he said doesn’t look like a sinus issue, looks more like a neurological one.
He lied and said he read my CT scan from my ER visit. The CT results and notes couldn’t be sent because the hospital was a different on then Sobol is affiliated with and I didn’t sign a release.
He stuck with his lie when I persisted. I told him I wanted to see a different doctor in the office, he rudely said there is no one available.
I told him I’m leaving and not going to pay for such unprofessional treatment!
HE followed me out and said I have to insist you pay.
I will be letting my insurance company know to not pay and I will go to civil court if they bill me!
I went to a different doctor the next morning and I have fluid in inner ear and inner ear infection.

Absolutely rude, obnoxious, nasty, I could go on and on. Would not recommend him to anyone. Little man, big ego. Must hate his patients to treat them the way he does.

I will not repeat all the adjectives in all the previous reports. They are all accurate in describing my experience.


I refused to pay someone to treat me the way he did.


In fact I intend to pursue every possible legal and ethical avenue to keep him from treating another human being the way he treated me.


His conduct and medical practices are actually abusive.


I consider this a very serious issue and will pursue it as such.

Poor bedside manner, did not seem sensitive to my issues, in and out within minutes, seemed more interest in making the money from my appointment, did not go over medication prescribed or care to say it would cost over $250 (when there were other options)

Saw Dr. Sobol for a sinus issue. He didn't listen to my concerns or questions, was rude, had no pand was hasty to suggest an involved operation before performing any sort of scans. The last straw was when he cut me off during a question. I got a second opinion thankfully which differed from his diagnosis. It was my worst ever encounter with a doctor and would not recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor more interested in patient care than making money.

Louis Sobol is by far the rudest person I have taken my child to. He has no bedside manner, was rude, pompous, arrogant, and spent all of two minutes in the room with my son. I would not take even my dog to see him. I cannot even give him any star on the rating scare. When your 11 year old son walks out and says "I wonder if he treats all his patients this way", you know there is a BIG PROBLEM!

I read the reviews and went anyway. BIG mistake. What an absolute horrible person. He was rude and yelled at me. I was told to see an ENT by my by PC and Rheumy. I have a blocked salivary duct. Evidently he doesnt do salivary ducts (unlike most ENTs) He yelled that he "DIDNT DO THAT!" And then sat silently and said "Anything else?" I was in shock. I started babbling that my Rheumy had said to see him before I saw her at my appt in a few months. "THAT's NOT HOW IT WORKS!!" he screamed. He doubted why I saw my rheumy. Told me to stop "DANCING AROUND ISSUES!!" I was shocked. I just called another ENT and asked if they treat salivary gland blockages. They said "Of course!" This man is a horrible doctor and a nasty, rude, sick person. BELIEVE what you read here. I wouldnt be surprised if this piece of garbage has a few lawsuits going. I should have followed my gut when I read the reviews here. PLEASE see another ENT.

Dr Sobol has the worst worst bedside manner. He is cold and uncaring and could see I was worried about a pain I had in my throat for a long time. He said I had acid reflux but didn't go over diet or any other precautions I should be aware of. All he said was go on Prilosec . I called a week later to say the pain was worse, The receptionist was just as cold she took my number and I never received a call back. I will never go to this office again. I am so angry. I feel like he could have cared less. Please go to a dr. that actually cares about his patients .
