Dr. Karen Grant spoke to me in a very condescending manner. She was short and lacked a good bedside manner. She offered no solutions, but walked in with no introduction and walked out with a negative comment. I will change doctors asap.

Second time I have come to see the doctor for being a new patient I had to wait for 2 hours . Not a good doctor will not come back after this visit and for them to charge me almost 100 ridiculous .

I had the opportunity to visit Dr. Karen Grant with my mother who is her patient. Of note, I am an intern physician at John Peter Smith Hospital and have done many stints in primary care as a student and now as a resident. I was extremely disappointed in the way that she conducted the visit with my mother. She was very rude, dismissive, and short regarding my mother's concerns as well as my suggestions. She didn't introduce herself, nor give eye contact when she walked in the room. She was condescending about my mother's efforts towards losing weight, stating "She should just eat less and she already knows that," and "I do not run a weight loss clinic." She refused to give us referrals to proper resources that would augment my mother’s weight loss efforts. Dr. Grant is not culturally competent and I fear for patients who do not have an advocate such as myself. My mother will not be returning to her care. Please proceed with caution.

My mother has been with Karen for years. I don't know what she's doing for her care. She gets skinnier by the day and way past needing a dentist. I can't understand why her mouth is not being addressed. Her health is fading. She's not eating at all and weighs maybe 98 lbs. She wears long sleeves all the time and I noticed the skin on her arms wrinkled and sagging. My mom won't let us attend a visit with her. My mom herself says her wait in the waiting area is way longer than her visit with Karen. My aunt was seeing her but due to her health declining under her care she now has a new Dr and thriving. I wish my mom would leave. I feel helpless. I know she's going to die under her supposed care. So frustrated!

If your loved one is using Dr. Grant I would look for other alternatives. She and staff are rude very hard to work with from a peer to peer level. I can only imagine what it is like for her patients and their families. Find someone who cares rather than churn through patients to make a buck.

I wish I could give zero stars instead of one. Heartless doctor and nurse team. Please don't go to this doctor and put yourself through this like I did. You should be comfortable with your doctors, not feel like dirt on the ground.

I saw her today she was very polite, courteous and very knowledgable. I have read these reviews, thought twice about seeing her. But to my surprise she has a awesome staff that showed kindness and toke the time to address all my issues today even though they were extremely busy. I would definately refer her to my friends and family.

Dr grant is a very nice helpful dr. I had to take a day off work and come in for a uti, and she said if the mess didn't work to let her know. This morning I woke up in excruciating abdomen pain and now back pain... It's my kidneys obviously. I couldn't wait and decided to call the on call nurse. It was 5 til 7am and she said she would let the dr know. Here it is at 10:20 and the on call lady was on the phone and horribly RUDE and said she was on call and didn't get any messages this am!! She basically called me a liar! I feel if dr grant had a better staff behind her, her office would thrive! Dr is great, staff is TERRIBLE
