He treated me like a specimen. A long list of y/n answers and then an invasive test without explanation. Medications for conditions I don't have!

I was referred to Dr Ganjian by my endocrinologist. A suspious thyroid nodule had been biopsy with an inconclusive result. The recommendation was for half the thyroid to be removed. I can't say enough good things about Dr Ganjian, his staff and NY U Winthrop Hospital in Mineola. Everything went very smoothly from pre op testing to the surgery and recovery. He is such an excellent doctor who cares deeply about his patients. He explains every step of the procedure and recovery. His office hours accommodated my hectic schedule. Dr Ganjian is also a plastic surgeon so little evidence of scaring. I told Dr. Ganjian that I would b back to see him if any further surgery is needed in the future. Thank you and your staff so much.

I was suffering with very severe sinus problems for at least 16 years now. I had been to many other ENT doctors in my area and all would just do the basic routine treatments but never really address my underlining problem of a severe deviated septum. Which was leading to sinus infections which would then traveled to my lungs. Doctor Ganjian evaluated my conditions and treatment plans. He recommended surgery which fix my problems and gave me my life back! His expert diagnosis of what should be done was extremely important as the infections in my lungs were really getting worse from the sinus infections. which could have killed me as I am also suffering from 9/11 related lung issues.

I was referred to Dr. Ganjian by a physician friend of mine who has a lot of contacts in the ENT world. My friend was extremely confident that I would be in the best of hands with Dr. Ganjian and that there was no one that he had greater trust in to handle my surgery. I came to Dr. Ganjian after a decade of ignoring my nasal polyps out of fear, and so my polyps were quite advanced. I was experiencing constant nasal congestion, colds that never went away and often progressed into sinus infections, snoring, loss of taste and smell, etc.

When I first visited Dr. Ganjian, he listened patiently to my symptoms, medical and family history and concerns after negative experiences from other ENTs. And after reading online so many positive 5/5 star ratings from other patients, I broached the topic of rhinoplasty at my appointment since I had read a review that mentioned he had performed a polypectomy at the same time as rhinoplasty and deviated septum repair. I had always wanted rhinoplasty since I broke my nose as a child and until then didn’t realize it was possible to do them at the same time.

Dr. Ganjian addressed all of my concerns about rhinoplasty and having very natural, subtle results. He assured me no one would notice the difference in my nose after the surgery, and that the result would simply be a more defined and elegant nose. This was exactly what I wanted- nothing dramatic or noticeable, just a nose that would fit my face better and give me a bit more confidence about how I look in pictures.

On the day of the surgery Dr. Ganjian put me at ease, he has a very reassuring and comforting way about him. After the surgery he explained all the follow up care to my father and made sure I was comfortable with the instructions and understood everything.

In the days following the surgery I was shocked at how normal my face looked. I had almost no swelling and no bruising. The photos I saw online of rhinoplasty surgery looked nothing like the way I looked. Even in the immediate days after surgery I looked really normal. I had one tiny bruise on one side which faded in a few days. At my one week check-up I looked totally normal and you could already see the difference in my nose. Dr. Ganjian and I could tell it was smaller, but no one else could tell. I also felt a lot better than I expected. When I first saw how I looked without the bandage, I was floored. I couldn’t even absorb it at first because it looked exactly how I hoped it would. It took me a several minutes to take it in and express to Dr. Ganjian how happy I was with the results. I just couldn’t believe it at first, and he was right, no one can tell, not even my parents. If my mother could tell, believe me she would say something- she has no idea!

I have to say that Dr. Ganjian’s bedside manner is very gentle and caring. He really treated me with kid gloves, always checking to make sure I was comfortable and making jokes to distract me if he sensed any discomfort that I was feeling during check-ups after the removal of my polyps. I really didn’t feel any discomfort as he cleaned up the inside of my nose. I actually really looked forward to those visits because he made me feel so much better.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Ganjian for the care he gave me. I am so glad I finally took care of the polyps, I can breathe normally for the first time in more than 10 years. And I’m so happy that Dr. Ganjian made me feel safe enough to go through with the rhinoplasty, since I wanted it for so many years. It takes a lot of trust to change your appearance like that, and Dr. Ganjian delivered on every single thing he promised me. He is the rare doctor who has the highest level of technical skill combined with a gentle bedside manner and a really likable personality in general. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family and wanted to take the time to express how thrilled I am with the results of the surgery so that other patients can see the outstanding work that he does.

My appointment withDr. Ganjian was great. I was so nervous going in and he calmed me down immediately. I would give him a sixth star if I could. he knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it immediately. I will definitely recommend him to my family and friends. His professional and caring attitude was amazing. I also have to give a heads up to his staff. All very nice and caring. Wish we had more doctors like him!!!!!

Dr. Ganjian is one of the most amazing doctors that I have ever met, trust me, I am 79 years old with many medical problems and have seen plenty of doctors and have had many surgeries! Dr. Ganjian operated on me about 10 years ago for a large cancerous tumor in my neck and saved my life. I went to him for a second opinion for what I thought was an ear infection that was not going away and he diagnosed the cancer as the source of my pain! He has also treated me for several different ENT issues over the years. He has done thyroid surgery on my husband, sinus surgery and rhinoplasty on our children and has also taken care of our grandchildren as well as many friends and family members, always with absolutely the best possible outcome. As you can tell we completely trust him with any ENT issues and for good reason. Besides being an exemplary physician and an amazing surgeon he is an outstanding human being. He really and deeply cares for the well-being of his patients and gives endlessly of his time, effort and care. He is the best advocate that a patient could ask for at the time of an illness and reminds me of the "hero doctors" in the old movies. He always does what is right for the patient and not what is easier or more convenient for him or what is dictated by an insurance bureaucrat! It is a testament to his credibility and ability that other physicians always approve of his treatment, speak very highly of him and very frequently tell us that they recommend him to their own family members. I can't say enough amazing things about this doctor. I had 2 botched rhinoplasty procedures. I flew all the way to NY to my revision surgery by him. It was the best decision I have ever made. He was amazing and his surgical skills is 2nd to none. If you need any facial cosmetic procedures done don't waist your time w/ anyone else. Dr. Ganjian is simply the best ever. Also most compassionate and having empathy.

I discovered Dr. Ganjian from the internet after trying to find an ears ,nose and throat doctor for my situation. When i looked at some of his reviews and noticed he was 5 star, I went to see him for my situation. I am so happy I did. Great experience with him, very knowledgeable and professional and also made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and would use him any day of the week. One of the best doctor experiences I have had. I visited doctor Ganjian after a close family friend of mine had a septum surgery completed. I had been struggling with sinus issues for years and just recently went ahead with the surgery. As an extremely busy doctor - Dr. Ganjian was very thorough and went above and beyond. I would recommend Dr. Ganjian to anyone that is dealing with sinus related issues and who may need a surgery done.

Had a thyroidectomy performed by Dr. Ganjian. Was extremely pleased with the entire procedure from start to finish. Dr. Ganjian is attentive, pleasant and very competent. Surgery was a success and recuperation was easy. Thank you Dr. Ganjian. In addition, Dr. Ganjian's office staff is wonderful. Definitely would recommend him.
